GTA V Gas station refueling?!?!

It may not come as a surprise that the new Grand Theft Auto will require cars to be refueled.

While some people many find this feature a nuisance, some will welcome it with open arms. Here are some arguments agaisnt it.

REASONS WHY SOME PEOPLE REJECT THE IDEA

When was the last time you looked forward going to the gas station? The answer is probably never. Gamers couldn’t care less about the addition to gas stations.

Fans prefer to play the game without any interruptions. Furthermore, nobody wants to stop for gas when they’re in a high speed chase from the police.

REASONS WHY SOME GAMERS LIKE THE IDEA

There are gamers which want their gaming experience to be as realistic as possible. Which makes perfect sense the way the GTA series is going, for those welcoming this new feature it’ll just add the their adventure.

Do you have a source for the confirmed fuel?

 

As for me, I'd like it, because it's more realistic, obviously. But, if there's no fuel, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

 

I don't mind it because:

1.) It takes quite a while for fueled cars to go empty.

2.) You probably wouldn't hold onto a car long enough for it to run out of fuel anyway, for it's Grand Theft Auto and you can just steal another one.

3.) This opens the door to some cool scenarios. For example, in many police chases, the bad guys run out of fuel and try to make it on foot, but they get caught.
4.) Gas stations provide a place to spend your money. It was common in previous GTA games to have a load of cash with nowhere to spend it.

First of all, this came from a Youtube channel with their own website.

Second of all, I am not paying $50k for fuel for one flight in my Shamal. Rockstar. :|

Pardon, but $1,000 to refuel a passenger automobile's fuel storage tank (a few gallons)?

Money is supposed to be a big deal in GTA 5. I think fuel exspenses would be another neat item to buy.

I wouldn't be a fan of such a feature, the "why would people reject it" sums it up pretty well for me.

Having to go for fuel in a game would be as annoying for me as having to go to sleep with your character every ingame day.

if indeed in the game, should bring a new experience "for those that don't have gta iv or the gta iv fuel mod" to their game. I really love the fact they are going way beyond on this game with features, and I don't mind the fuel thing added in. Itll bring a new enjoyment when it comes to police chases, since if you drive to long you may run out of gas.. may also apply to police cars.. seeing them slowly run our of gas allowing you to get out of a pursuit.

Is this a confirmed thing? Because if it is you should have put in a spoiler and not put the feature in the thread title... Sam just posted about not posting spoilers and if you did it was suppose to be with a spoiler box..... I was trying to keep myself away from these leaked things... 

 

but since I already read it I'll comment, NO, I think its a horrible feature. Maybe it should be something that can be turned on/off so those that want to take time to fill up can but I'll stick to the way its been

I like the idea, because it adds to the realism of the game. I play GTA for the realism. I'm not all that into the car stealing, and police chases. Though, like DerangedSomali said, I wouldn't get angry if they didn't include it.

What I am really hoping for Rockstar to do is to add a drivers seat view, with decent graphics. It may be a little different with modded cars (That is, if it is moddable), but it would be a nice addition, otherwise.

i do not think it is actually going to be happening.

R* most likely knows the majority of the people who play this series(console-side mainly) do not play it for the realism.

Personally, I would love to see this as I am similar to Michael's view on the game.

The series is really one of few games that has been truly open world(minus buildings you cannot enter) and the amazing opportunity for being able to be in a real city.

 

So for me having to get gas would be quite cool. But I highly doubt it will happen.

Guess we'll find out when the game hits the streets!

If they were to implement it,   the best way i feel would be a "difficulty" option you can check.   A bit more fair for everyone.

Yes or maybe similar to driving games where you choose different options when you create your game profile.

Like Game Difficulty- Easy

Driving Difficulty- Easy

Game Style- Unreal

Alright, well if this is a feature, which I doubt it will be, there should be an option to disable it. 

Like in GTA IV, there was nothing to do so I got the fuel mod. But in GTA V, there is a plethora of things to do that will keep the gamer company for a long, long time.

well Mafia II had fuel for cars and I drove round in one for about 2 hours and only used Half a tank, Plus who says you have to pay for the fuel anyway, you could just take it

I have mixed feelings about this... I personally love the gas mod but I sometimes turn it off.
