Been working on this for a month or so. 

 

 

 

I just noticed TrevorJ released one too, mine is different than his, for mine has UV mapping edits, exterior changes, collisions. Mine has collisions (saw a picture of his where car glitching in ground.) and mine has its panels able to be textured and are part of the livery. 

 

I got home from work late the day before I uploaded it and fell asleep, so he uploaded his version first. 

so if you make textures, please be distinct on whose model. Mine also has different template. 

 

 

A real life replacement for the policet!

The force welcomes the GMC Savana. For now, due to funding  (zmodeler3 being difficult) the force has installed the generic PoliceT lightbar and will upgrade in the coming weeks. 

Model has a cage to protect you from crazy prisoners/detainees. Also features seats cold and hard for them too!

 

Interior will be redone too.

 This is still a WIP, but has collisions and multiple liveries.

 


This model was ported to GTA V by me. It has a LAPD and LASD skin on it.
includes template.

If you wish to replace skins, replace the skin 'savana_sign_#' inside the .ytd

In the meta file find policet. 
Then go to flags and make sure it has FLAG_HAS_EXTRA and FLAG_HAS_LIVERY for  policet. The model supports multiple 
liveries.

To my knowledge that's the first police van mod for GTAV ever released (apart from yours police Burrito). Cool.

    I just uploaded a wrong version. Easy fix. We have different versions. Mine has Collisions and the side panels were made to be part of savana_sign and made sure multiple.liveries enabled.

    I will once I get it at the level I want it to be.

    I'm currently redoing the interior. Once I get all that done, I'll add more lightbars.

    I cant find policet in the vehicle meta file, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Here's a few suggestions to make this more realistic:

    • The windows should be barred or made of metal
    • There should be a metal barrier (wall) between the two side seats and in front of the back facing seats (Edit: Didn't see the cage in front of the back facing seats)
    • There should be a cage between the drivers and prisoners

    It should look more like this:

    I need help i dont want replace skins so do i need to put FLAG_HAS_EXTRA and FLAG_HAS_LIVERY ? and in vehicles.meta  > policet there is no flags

    billiarboy, I am assuming you are using arrest manager. If so you need to go into the XML and tell it what livery to use where. Albo put pretty clear instructions inside of the XML file on how to do it. Path: Plugins>LSPDFR>Arrest Manager. In here will be the Transport World Districts, Transport Regions XML files. I believe you will need to edit both of them to reflect this change.
