Please upload logs when this occurs so I can figure out whats going on, it most likely has to do with certain files not decoding properly but I have not run into it myself so far so it's a bit hard to fix. especially plugins\lspdfr\xscanner\log\debuglog.log try to pinpoint at which time it happened (or what line it was playing)

I can always add a login feature for that ig. bit of a pain but its possible.

The obvious fix would be installing XScanner.

Yes it's to pay for my bills. Broadcastify sometimes has ads at the start of their streams, you can enable the adskip Flag in the background scanner menu. This will only skip the initial ad though, if you are using a stream that has random ones theres not much I can do about that. (I don't think any do though)

you can upload Plugins\lspdfr\xscanner\log\debuglog.log it is most likely mp3 files with bad headers from some plugin (or audio files with the wrong extension, like an aac named as an mp3)

Theres quite a bunch if you go look into Stream Management at the bottom of the background scanner menu theres also a button there you can use to manually enter a broadcastify stream id if you want to manually enter an id you just go look on broadcastify, in the address bar you will see the id.

When you go into the police scanner menu you can select your intro and outro, you might have a default one installed thats a bad file, when selecting one it will play a preview.

Legacy is the legacy one (v2) So it is the old version

Legacy is the old version that only works with xscanner2, the current one only works with xscanner3

windows even natively opens rar, tar, gz, 7z now. rar is also one of the few archives that actually has recovery data in it. You really should use relative paths instead of hardcoded paths 😄 @"plugins\lspdfr\myplugindir" this will get you a relative path from your executing path (which is the gta root folder).

It's the mp3 decoding shitting the bed again that's mentioned in known issues, I'm still checking if its the files or the decoder.

There's still a bug in it, don't tell anyone but i found out after the update and I didn't wanna push 2 updates in the same day in case I find more. Will do one later this week unless it goes completely tits up for a lot of people all of a sudden.

Probably fixed it, just doing some more checking, will release an update later today (hopefully). Certain (intactive) audio devices are crashing the entire backend when querying them, which was not something I could have foreseen (as I don't have any audio device like that on my system).

Yeah I am working on finding a solution but it's not easy when I cannot replicate the error myself 🙂 will try to get a fix out asap

There's currently an error where it can't show the error (strange I know) the most likely reason being it can't connect or find a valid audio device. Try and make sure you have a default audio device set in windows and that it's the correct one.

It is, its not a very common issue but i am dealing with that exact one atm on my discord. Will try to fix it as soon as possible. Feel free to join if you want to help fix it by testing builds. If you would rather not, you can always go back to the previous version while waiting (its the legacy version under downloads)

You're not creating endless fibers and you're not using a shifty custom rnui lib to avoid having to use Math.Lerp. A+

The archive might have an outdated one. Use the one that comes with xscanner. Will fix it in the update.

It might be the compressor in XScanner which automatically normalizes the volume of all the audio, maybe theres something in the encoding of bluelines it doesn't like, would have to check.
