  1. The OP said it was installed correctly. Install these: http://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145406-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese- http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5549 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 EDIT Yeah, do that :)
  2. Potentially, not necessary. Try that and report back, could be the car mods that are hogging your machine.
  3. Just leave it as it is, there is usually no need to change the priority of a process. A realtime priority thread process can never be pre-empted by timer interrupts and runs at a higher priority than any other thread in the system. As such a CPU bound realtime priority thread can totally wreck a machine. Does the game lag without the car mods?
  4. By 'recieved' you mean that it's a legal and bought copy of the game?
  5. And you are using the same mods, and same setup, and same install order as on your other illegal copy?
  6. First off, don't set a process priority to "realtime". That is bound to cause other, potentially damaging, issues to your operating system. On to my questions: Is the game up to date? Is it a legal copy of the game? Are you running the game as administrator?
  7. So.. it changes the graphics by modding the game files? Sounds like a graphic mod to me, may be nitpicking.
  8. Looks nice. But isn't this a graphic mod?
  9. You will have to go to the Steam GTA IV directory (steamappscommon) and right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
  10. Are you running the game as administrator?
  11. I would suggest clearing your browser cache.
  12. The OP is using the Steam version, where the latest patch is automatically installed.
  13. Yep, just like it says in the first mission (tutorial). You can also use the simple native trainer to disable the phone all together.
  14. Are you running the game as administrator?
  15. You do not disable any of them, you can disable any of the callouts but I run both of them and disable them when on a call.
  16. or... Disable the keys via the ini...trainer keys are disabled by going to your GTA IV folder, open trainer.ini, hit CTRL+F, type in KeyBindingsDisabled=0, click on Find Next and replace 0 with 1.
  17. Nice easter egg :) And nice skins ofc.
  18. Thanks for the screenshots! Noticed a couple of things though 1. On the Ambulance, Liberty is mislabeled as "New Libety" 2. The reason one of the "o's" is in lower case is because NOoSE stands for "National Office of Security Enforcement". "of" is rarely in upper case. Although, GTA IV uses both IIRC so for some it may make sense. 3. I would recommend making skins for Ekalbs cars, as they support multiple liveries :)
  19. Well, since the OP said he has been able to play the game before, I don't think the specs is the issue here, more likely he forgot to set the "run as administrator" flag on GTAIV.exe and LaunchGTAIV.exe
  20. The standard, default ones? Alright.
  21. For what models are these?
  22. Are linking your account to the installer? If yes, don't. Crime stats system is down and that is causing your issue.
