  1. I think most people would think they'd stop and help, but when you're faced with that situation some people (if not most) will freeze and not be able to do anything. That's human nature. A lot of things goes on everyday (like harrasement) within hearing-range of other people, but nothing is done to stop it. Surprised? Not me.
  2. You'll need to reinstall your game if you didn't make backups, sadly. LCPDFR is not supported with any third-party mods, so I'd try it without mods first.
  3. MODERATOR NOTICE Let's keep it civil. 2 Posts has been hidden, as I have no need to wake up and see people instigating a fight over a video game. It's Sunday people, let's try enjoying it before Monday is here again, and we can do that without fighting. By all means, go ahead and try to make a police game. No one would really oppose it, but I don't think you can name it "LCPDFR" or something similar. Try to read this too: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Making_a_Mod. It's about how to build and use a team, it can be applied to most development groups even though this one is more angled towards the source engine and a mod of a larger scale. I also have to agree with Ben here, there's been quite a few projects like this, people coming through promising great things and then going to complete silence. Disappears off the site, so you should understand our frustration when a topic like this is created. It's not a bad idea, it's just that we've had bad experiences regarding this kind of thing.
  4. If you open up run (Windows Key + R) and type %appdata% you will land in the right place.
  5. Just open run and type %appdata%.
  6. GTA IV doesn't really support extra liveries in the way that you are describing.
  7. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff as it has been posted in the wrong forum section. This forum is not for LCPDFR support requests. Please post your topic in the LCPDFR Support Forum instead, following the clearly presented instructions there. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  8. Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR. You failed to read the instructions before posting in this forum. So we'll remind you of them. Please do the following: Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post. If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following: Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Please note that failure to follow these instructions may cause this thread to be closed.
  9. There already is pursuit backup? It's all outlined in the manual, along with all other features of the LCPDFR Modification.
  10. Knowing Yard, this is probably a feature and not a bug :))))
  11. Just saw this topic. Here are the 2 I usually recommend: -renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict or -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict
  12. Awesome, maybe now they'll stop cancelling my damn shows on TV instead of showing sports!
  13. This is a very broad question, and parts of your question belongs in another section of the forum. I would recommend you to take the time to read the manuals and readmes of all the mods that you download, pretty much all mods have detailed instructions on how to install them. Further, LCPDFR 0.95RC2 is not supported anymore and we close all LCPDFR 0.95RC2 topics on-sight.
  14. Start button is nice, but they moved the Power / Logoff button to a completely illogical place (right at the name on the start menu).
  15. Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 are all a nightmare for domain-based accounts. Curse Microsoft and their Microsoft accounts!
  16. Please stick to only one topic. You have this topic, where you are recieving support: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> As I said before, the games do not depend on eachother. They are their own games and are installed seperatly. You do not need GTA IV for EFLC, and vise versa. Nothing to see here! This topic has been closed by LCPDFR.com staff. If you feel that this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
  17. You need to patch EFLC too, SocialClub isn't needed for either games.
  18. Looks like a sleaker Windows 8
  19. I think you're better off posting on those gallery images :) Or atleast post links to the gallery image you are reffering to.
  20. Yes, LCPDFR works on EFLC and so does other mods. Third-party mods aren't supported along with LCPDFR though, as LCPDFR was designed with a vanilla install in mind. You will have to install all mods again though, as EFLC is a seperate game from GTA IV.
  21. What I wonder about is how the Server release will look like, and what kind of features they will introduce.
  22. Well, it's all up to LMS :)
