  1. I would say virtually all studies have to deal with outliers, and any good study will have a process for taking outliers into consideration. However, if the majority of data is what you describe, then the research will just show that LSPDFR isn't a good litmus test for "helping to understand how people react and behave in a law enforcement environment."
  2. The research stuff is super cool. I don't really play LSPDFR anymore, but I will for this!
  3. If you're using my police enhancements plugin, it might be a bug with the Silent Backup feature.
  4. Because people haven't made them.
  5. Make sure GTA and Rage are added as exceptions to your anti-virus, or temporarily disable your anti-virus to see if it's interfering.
  6. The minor events are working as intended, they just don't have blips to show you. They work slightly differently than the normal events, and are actually on their own timer which you cannot change. However, I've received other feedback about this and I have made some changes. Patrons are testing the next update right now, and I'll upload it publicly when they're done testing.
  7. If you launch GTA V normally, then alt tab and launch Rage after you get in-game, does it still crash?
  8. The reason they don't have blips is because they're handled slightly differently than normal events, but I'll implement something for the next update.
  9. There is a setting in the ini called DisableEventsWhilePlayerIsBusy, but I believe it only works for callouts and pursuits. I can add traffic stops to the next update, so setting that to true would solve your problem.
  10. If we look at the purpose of the original post, it was pointing out how the community was dying. People were responding to the generality of that, not you specifically, so you shouldn't feel the need to take it so personally (though I understand why you would since you started the conversation). Feel free to DM a mod and ask them to lock this.
  11. Since you did not provide the required information asked for in the first post, I can't do anything about the crash.
  12. This definitely is a bug. Do you know which event it was?
  13. You need to follow the installation instructions and put the file in the correct place. The README literally has a picture showing you what files to drag and where to drag them.
  14. Even so, with over 65,000 downloads, plus tens of thousands of downloads on my other plugins, I can assure you my software is safe.
  15. Minor events are currently always on, but they do not use blips.
  16. I assume you didn't change their frequency in the settings. They're off by default.
  17. Code 1 is just normal driving, no lights or sirens.
  18. Alright, I'll let the developer of that plugin know. Thanks!
  19. If you press F4 you can type in the command BeginAmbientEvent and select an event from the list. Be aware that it lists all events I have planned, so if you choose one that's not implemented yet, it will tell you that.
  20. I don't believe license plate lights exist in GTA V. Not sure how viable loud muffler would be. Can you see people wearing seatbelts in game? I know your character can "put one on" and it prevents you from being launched through the windshield in a head-on collision, but I don't think you actually see the seatbelt?
  21. I just tested starting the Assault event and arresting the suspect. I did not experience a crash. Would you mind temporarily disabling the StopAimingAtCops plugin and see if the issue continues?
  22. Please follow the directions outlined in the Support section so I can fix this.
