  1. I too am using that mod and it works very well. No more overtaking during a routine stop is a bit unrealistic, but its better than getting rammed everytime.
  2. The Lt. Caine ones are actually my guide! His are the most accurate by far. They are available that way from his files, great stuff. Its the reason I got into modding and texturing cars! They are yes, though I haven't gotten started. I'm going off of Lt. Caine's skins, he made some "New Liberty" ones with yellow tri-stripes and black bodies with white doors, so I'll be going off that, though I need to research NJ State Trooper cars as well. Also, Ekalb, quick modeling question: When you alter the front drivers side wheel, does it apply this change to all four wheels? I'm looking to remove that hub piece. I'm also wondering how hard it would be to take the license plate recess and move it to the bumper from the trunklid, to match the Charger a bit more... Also, anyone out there got a link to good reference material? I use google image mostly, but it would help to have a site or two.
  3. Now to figure out how to remove the caps from the wheel...Ekalb, if I remove the main one on the drivers front side, does it remove them for all 4 sides?
  4. Textures submitted for mod approval! In the meantime here are some tasty screens: For those of you who are sticklers for accuracy in their liveries....four unique ones! I made some minor improvements to the LCPD logo by enlarging it, adding more space with the bottom stripe, having the top stripe line up more accurately with the front fender line, and the POLICE font on the rear of the car to match NYPD Chargers...apparently the badge is not present on NYPD ones whatsoever in this livery. Next up is the New Alderney liveries to match all default cars...

LCPD Buffalo Livery Pack INCLUDES: -Four unique LCPD liveries for each livery slot within Ekalb's excellent Buffalo model. BLURB: Once again these were made to coincide with Lt. Caine's excellent POLC v3.6 & POLP v3.5 and their LCPD skins to match their real-life counterparts. Great pains were taken to get these as close to the real thing as possible, and of course this was optimized for low end PC's and people who like to keep it "lore-friendly" so to speak. BIG shout out to Ekalb and his fantastic work!!! I have been waiting for someone to make this model for a LONG time, and Ekalb was kind enough to fill my request, and I am OCD about this stuff. Go download his model! *golf clap* ENJOY!!!
  5. You read my mind friend, I'll have them up later this evening or tomorrow at the latest. I'd like to make 4 total so that you can use all four livery spots. Hope you like the landstalker, heard you were looking for a polpatriot replacement. I'm still planning on doing a full "improved default police" pack later on.
  6. Download for the NOOSE pack is back up

    Fantastic work!
  8. All the models are available here or on gtapolicemods. Check to see who the author of the model is, and you'll find it with some searching. Just textures here y'all
  9. I made some changes to the text. I wanted to correct a misspelling as I wanted to properly credit an author whose model I was using. It has to be approved again my an admin since I changed it. Hopefully it will be back up soon.
  10. According to Gamespot, the game will most likely have to be released before March of 2013. This is based on Take Two's substantial loss of $110M reported recently, and their need to recover by the end of fiscal year. http://www.gamespot....-launch-6378622 Its the money! Its also expected to sell 14M copies on launch day according to analysts. I mean, GTA IV had the best launch day, PERIOD, for an entertainment product. "Highest Revenue Generated by an Entertainment Product in 24 Hours, It sold 3.6 million copies on day one, which equaled roughly $310 million in revenue." - Guinness World Record.
  11. See, I'm conflicted. I don't own a PS3 or Xbox 360, so I'd have to have it on PC. To put down the money for a system, as well as a HDTV to make it worthwhile, would cost me hundreds. Ironically, PC's aren't exactly cheap either. When Crysis was coming out, I knew I needed a new system and upgraded. So I basically paid thousands of dollars to play one game, which will likely be the case this time around because I'm in need of an upgrade. Of course, there's much more to PC gaming than any console could have. Its a shame though, games that don't reach PC that get DLC packs, expansions, etc... I waited for GTA IV on PC. I will wait patiently again. I believe that they did not put it on PC because of the conflicting sales of Microsoft's Xbox vs PC, and Xbox had received some rights to the game and its expansions before it went to sale, hence the wait for EFLC too. Hopefully we won't have that issue this time around. Rockstar does this with most all of its games. One thing that always bothered me, WHY didn't they put the Red Dead series on PC either?! It all comes down to money. This game will make millions, and make Take Two and Rockstar's YEAR fiscally. After the record setting first day sales too, I would not be surprised if they take the same course of action. Final note, the game on PC gets illegally downloaded. Without a PC game, kids are forced to buy it for a $60 console game. This deters people from waiting for a torrent to get the game for free via a torrent, and makes the company more $$ in the long run vs a release on PC the same day as the console. Anyone with a PC could consider waiting for the DL. Not that I condone that. I'm a patient man. I only hope they do a better job porting it this time around. It doesn't have to be stellar, but something more improved. Perhaps pre-orders for the PC will show them how much attention they should give the port. So spread the word to pre-order! GTA began on PC. I've played it since the first game came out. They wouldn't disrespect their most hardcore, veteran fans by not having a PC version.
  12. Looks more like a Bullet GT. Also note the police wagon in the third shot! Dodge Magnum style? Another look makes me think it may just be another cruiser behind it giving the impression of a wagon. Lastly, right in front of my face, that's a rig hauling a trailer!!! 18-wheeled action!!!
  13. Yoyoyo mannnn when you releasin that Buffaloooo AHEM I mean, Elkab, I'm sure I speak for the masses when I express my humble request for you to share your model for those of us here who enjoy your modifications. Sir.
  14. Ah! I just saw how old this thread was. Oh well! :ninja:
  15. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=290 http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=294 I added the Hazmat truck (non-ELS) as well, its a nice change of pace from the firetruck. Anyone know what Lt. Caine is doing now anyways? Wish he'd put out more models...
  16. If you look in the download section for my NOOSE pack, you'll find that each has a link to their respective models where you can find them. I only do this so people can comment and rate the authors of the models. The Enforcer is here on LCPDFR, the Black Hawk is on GTA4-Mods
  17. Thanks y'all. Wish my Cruiser and Patrol cars had mapped license plates so I could make ones accurate to NYPD's like my Buffalo. The one pictured is also a Highway Patrol version. I'll post more pictures later!
  18. My LCPD Buffalo skin to work with Elkab's upcoming release...I will release it when he does the same. Mine is meant to represent a more accurate NYPD livery to coincide with the two Lt.Caine vehicles you see. There will be some improvements to my skin as well that you see here. The sun glare is hiding the primary striping here as well. More to come!
