  1. Yeah you need to look below and see if there are any errors in zmodeler. One way to tell if your model exported correctly is if the file has size, like 3.5MB. If it didn't export correctly then the file size will be zero. It sounds like you exported and had errors so the size was zero and then you tried to import that into OpenIV and thats why it crashed when you attempted to view it. 90% of the time you'll get an error when trying to export and most of the time it will be to many copies of a certain object. Just follow the errors and delete the duplicates it states in the error. It will only list one error at a time starting from the top of the hierarchy so you may have to try and export 10 times before you fix all the problems. Or you can just open all the folders and sub-folders in the hierarchy and look for duplicates. Fixing these things still won't guarantee the car will work without crashing since there are so many other places where things can go wrong but this is a good place to start!
  2. Little advice, use a black/white template or if you can't find one then redo the black/white since where the black meets the white by the doors its very unfinished. You can see the brush strokes, use the polygon lasso to select the sections, it makes things a lot cleaner. Just some tips, not bad for a first skin though
  3. Is it similar to this video below? I had the same problem and how I fixed it for myself is in the video description http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYZfZ463Pcg
  4. If you have to ask what do do with them then you probably shouldn't download it
  5. The photo you show is of the 2013 Taurus but you say the skin is for the Caprice?
  6. Like PriMan said, if you have to ask you shouldn't be downloading them. Its for zmodeler and development. The antennas are extremely large when you import them so its not just something you can throw in the game with OpenIV. Even if they were the correct size you still can't just import random parts.
  7. Just like Robert posted, all of these cars already exist, not with those exact setups but they are available for download with different setups. Not very many people have these models since they are relatively new to the IV modeling world so I wouldn't count on anyone making the cars you want. Its not like hundreds of people have the unlocked models like the CVPI/Charger and the people who do have the models don't take requests and arent exactly handing out the models unlocked. Get the models unlocked and I'll put them at the front of my projects and make them for you
  8. NickieB commented on a comment on a file in GTA4 Mods Vehicle Models
Yeah the credits are all wrong and that isn't a Whelen Horizon either, its a Liberty.
  9. Awesome, very cool! Got my download, look forward to using them!
  10. Turn up your "texture resolution" in the graphics menu and it will work. This car shouldn't do that though since the file size is like 1.4MB
  11. A buddy of mine took the pictures. I'll ask him what ENB he's using next time I talk to him.
  12. You think what are LEDs? I use LED on 98% of my cars because I like how they look in my game. Everything on this impala is a LED except the intersection lights on the push bar
  13. I know that you can turn it off for ELS V6 because I dislike the ticking also and have it turned off but I've never used v5 so I can't say for sure on that. If it has the option then it should work. Your saving it correctly when you edit it?
  14. Its just a skin, not a model
  15. I don't have a 2011 Taurus Interceptor model. I have the civilian version which I'm
  16. Multiplayer really opened up a new world for me. I was to the point where I really didn't even play anymore except to test my cars. Now since I started playing online, I play all the time. Its so much fun being able to assist on things and "use the radio". Plus you can do so many more role playing things with real people instead of the AI.
