I don't think that the issues crashes GTA IV. It only crashes the script.

What i have found funny if you acess an mission off-duty and skip the cutscene, then go on-duty and you can play the mission as a copper and use the features of LCPD FR in it . It freezes in some missiong tho.

I don't think so. It also happened to me with 0.90c few times.

So, there seems to be an problem with the Helicopter backup. If an Helicopter is called in and the suspect gets arrested, the pilot and the gunners seems to jump out of the helicopter, as a result the helicopter explodes. I noticed it when an helicopter fell on me and exploded. I saved a clip of it.
