Her voice bank is that of a female singer and she takes on the appearance of a female character. Regardless if that person/thing is real or not, I always call them gender specific. Take "Thomas Was Alone" for example, that game is about shapes but I would still refer to the shapes as "him, his, etc" because the character is depicted as being male. It's pre-programmed, but it's not a prerecorded video. They project her onto a clear screen using a projector. She's essentially a hologram.

I seriously hate that expression. If we are to look at it in a literal way, it's the actual bullet that kills the person, not whom who pulls the trigger. Consider this, if one was to take away every fire-arm, how often do you think violent crimes would occur? How often do you think someone will beat another to death with their bare hands? The way I see it, a lot less violent crimes would occur if every fire-arm suddenly vanished. Before you're quick to argue with me, I'm quite aware it's near impossible to remove every fire-arm on the planet. It was only a thought, nothing more.

She has her own fandoms here and there, but she's not exactly big outside of Japan so that's not surprising.

As much as I love Miku, I have to agree. While it's wonderful she's getting attention outside of Japan, most of the American public has no idea how to react to her. I'm not sure they completely understand what is going on.

There is no fix as far as I know, as it's hard-coded into the game.

This is right up my alley. Hatsune Miku, a virtual diva from Japan, made her debut on American Television last night during her performance on the talk show, The Late Show with David Letterman. Miku has been featured in several American concerts before, including the opening act for Lady Gaga's artRAVE in June. The amount of gun violence in the UK is very low when compared to the United States and other countries. In-fact, it's one of the lowest in the world. I see no reason why officers shouldn't have access to fire-arms (say, in the trunk of their vehicles) but I personally do not think they need a fire-arm on their duty belt.

One of my favourite shows of all time is Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. It follows the life of Sorata, a normal high school student who struggles to cope with living with a bunch of problem children in Sakura-sou. There, he meets Mashiro, a gifted artist who doesn't know anything outside of her drawings. Sorata must teach her how to live and act like a regular person all while struggling to keep his own life afloat. Sorata soon discovers that the world is a cruel and unforgiving place.
