  11. One point I'd like to add to this that I think seriously needs addressing as well is the quality of criticism and feedback itself. It's far too often that I see reviews on files that are like 3/5 stars with the only reason given being something along the lines of "it's not the lightbar I like so I could only give 3/5 stars." Or the total opposite of that, where a file is riddled with bugs or is sloppily thrown together and it's getting 5/5 because "OMG I LOVE THIS AGENCY/LIGHTBAR/etc." Note that neither of these examples have any actual feedback at all, which is the entire point and definition of a review. Does the file live up to its description? Is it a quality product? Are things scaled properly? Are they accurate to the prototype or were creative liberties taken? Does everything work as it should? These are things that should be addressed via the review system. Objective reasoning, not a wishlist. Please, in the future, rate and review files based on what they are, not what you want them to be.
  12. Very cool stuff! These would be nice features to use..... alongside a partner. 👀

  20. This looks fantastic so far! Looks like it will add some much needed depth to LSPDFR. I'll be keeping an eye on this project for sure!
  21. Pls no. I don't know what's wrong with this decade, but it's time to stop. Stop making police cars look like Hot Wheels cars. This looks really unprofessional.

  23. Eh I dunno about this. Hard to tell what went on with the shooting itself. I don't necessarily think the "I'm gonna kill this motherf***er" is sufficient evidence to say he shot him for no reason. I say that daily in stressful situations and have yet to actually kill anybody. :) However, it's pretty obvious these cops were acting incredibly recklessly throughout this chase, and THAT needs to be seriously looked at. Flying through city blocks and intersections like that is sketchy enough, as evidenced by their collision with a tree. But opening fire on a fleeing vehicle in public like that? Totally reckless. Ramming (not even PIT-ing) a vehicle, in a highly populated area, into oncoming traffic (and hitting a civilian vehicle in the process (would've been a head on collision if they timed it wrong) cannot be ignored and is straight up negligent in my eyes.
  24. I know this sounds crazy, but restart your PC. It's a pretty common bug in ELS that doesn't seem to have a solution besides that.
  25. That would fall under their IP, so...... no.
  26. Jumping off @ToeBius 's question, and forgive me if this has already been answered/explained, but is it actually possible to add say Paleto Bay PD (spawning in Paleto) in the current build of RDE ourselves? What would I have to add/change to make that possible (if at all possible)? Even if it's not something the RDE team plans on taking on themselves, I'd like to know if it's something I could take a crack at myself, despite my lack of coding experience.
  27. I think this is a great idea, and I'd love to see this developed. Additionally, I think it's high time the traffic stop backup system got revamped. It was one of the earlier features of the original Police Radio, and while it works well, it only spawns a LSPD cruiser and peds, which is strange when you're out on the highway or in Blaine County. Surprising, to be honest, that it hasn't been improved on since.
  28. This happened to me today as well. Unfortunately, it's a fairly common problem that seems to affect quite a few users. It's been documented in a thread (with some posted solutions) by @TWISTEDSCOPES here: I've tried most of them, and the only solution that seems to work for me (and apparently others as well) is restarting your PC. Bizarre, I know, and not the most efficient solution, but it does work. Hopefully someone else knows a more permanent or quicker fix by now and can chime in, because I know I'm personally too lazy to restart my PC when ELS fails.
  29. I had spyware on my computer once that did that, even when I wasn't using a browser. It would intermittently play clips of music or ads at random points and was basically unkillable. Sounds like the problem you're having. Have you tried a simple spyware/adware/malware scan?

  31. Hey all. Quick question that might be a dumb one, so please don't kill me if this has been answered and I missed it... Is there a particular reason that I can't change the wheels on some RDE vehicles, even using a trainer? For instance, my hwaycar2 wheels seem to be stuck on stock for some reason.
