Question geared towards New Yorkers.
Oh jeez, it may actually be easier to tell you what the NYPD DOESN'T use. As far as precinct patrols go, most of the time you'll be seeing Impalas. Second to that it's a mix of Econoline vans (paddy wagons), Savanna vans, Fusions, Escapes, and Altimas. Then there's the occasional Explorer or Crown Vic. Crown Vics are becoming more and more rare as they age. 2013 Taurus PI's are starting to pop up here and there. Traffic uses Prius', Volt's, more Econoline and Savannah vans, Impalas of current and previous generation, Escapes, various handmedowns. Highway Patrol is mostly Chargers, slicktop or with Hi-Risers. If it ain't a Charger, it's a Crown Vic. They have a handful of Tahoes, but I've never seen one in person. They're also starting to get Eco-boosted 2013 PI's, and there are a few PI Utilities coming in as well. Unmarked... well. Honestly, name a car, they've probably got it. Most of the time it's Impalas or Crown Vics though. I see Fusions and previous generation Tauruses fairly often as well. Of course, there's always the undercover taxis. NYPD taxis needn't be Crown Vics anymore either, they've got undercover taxi Altimas as well, and I'm sure if there's a taxi version of it, there's an NYPD taxi version of it as well. I've heard people say they've seen everything from Grand Marquis to Suburbans to BMW M3's being used by the NYPD. And that's just four divisions alone. I could go on for hours about the things I've seen, but just going to policecarwebsite or Flickr should answer most of your questions.

ELS Version 7.1 preview
I thought it was a joke when I read the title. Pleasantly surprised to say the least!!! Wow, I thought v7 was the end-all, be-all. The new features look great! Can't wait for the 'off-switch' functionality in particular. I agree with the above post. If it's not too much to ask, and while I'm incredibly grateful that more effort has been put into this, I would love to be able to choose what goes on in a particular lightstage. Could really be a game-changer.

GTAIV 2013 11 03 12 44 42 940
Very nice! Out of curiosity, where did you get those ALPR's from? I've been looking for a newer, slimmer ALPR than the one Bxbugs made.

Ford Taurus NYC Taxi
Actually, it's not all that crazy to paint it in green... People of LCPDFR, I introduce you to NYC's new "Boro" taxis... '> [Picture by "brianhoch" on Flickr]

Brevard County : What Light Bar Do They Use.
Whelen Edge with a center mounted spotlight. While we're on the subject though, I would like to know what they use for their Chargers... '>

Federal Signal Legend CVPI
This is tons better. Great job! I'm glad you weren't discouraged by your last effort; the unlocked Charger model is a little advanced for a beginner as it comes packaged with its own set of problems that need fixing.

Real Police Car Photo's for designers
Hmmmm, as a New Yorker these are all very interesting to me. I had no idea we had "State Forest Rangers". Go figure

2013 Dodge Charger Vice City PD
Lol seriously? I think its simplicity is what makes it good and realistic. It's true to the original counterpart, with some nice details added in (I love the pinstriping). It's not totally over the top like so many skins nowadays, so I applaud this GTA:VC tribute.

2014 Ford Explorer - "Canadian Border Services Agency"
I can't tell from the pictures, but the Liberty seems a bit large to me. Anyone else agree?

Ultra Frdm Charger Front THF
Weirdly, those links worked for me originally. Now they aren't. They were also posted on flickr if you're still having problems. These could be a great reference point for you. '' target='_blank'>>

Ultra Frdm Charger Front THF
It's a bit tall. And it should be wider, almost hanging over the roofline. See here, a real 2013 Charger w/ a Freedom: http://policecarwebsite.net/yet/rwcar4k/brev293.jpg http://policecarwebsite.net/yet/rwcar4k/brev294.jpg

LAPD Impala
I'm curious, and you have quite a few LAPD releases under your belt so maybe you can answer this. What's the deal with LAPD's Impala's? They were demos right? How many actually see/saw service?

Alderney Sheriff CVPI
I suppose, but metal wins over rubber when in contact. I kinda agree with the rest that the led there kinda negates the purpose of the wrap. Still, very nice! All blue lighting I presume?

St. Pete New
Definitely the best and most accurate 13 PI model out there. This one doesn't have the 'snowplow' look that the others do. I would love to get my hands on this.

Probably a dumb question, but they are attached to the other extra's right?

GTA5 Unmarked Cruisers (Close up Inspection) 1080p
Agreed, BUT - fret not. You can still get yourself a patrol car and do those random PoliceHelper-esque crime events that occur throughout the city. It's not exactly the same, but the idea is there. :)
