Liberty/Ventura County Sheriff '04 CVPI Final WIP
Could've been a replacement. There's a department in my neck of the woods that's got 2010 vics with slatted grilles on em. But that's only because they rigged lightheads to em and kept passing em down....

NYC Buildings Official
This is the only evidence I've ever found of the existence of this vehicle. I saw it once in real life and never could find out anything about it. Glad to know someone else knows it exists! :)

The most oblivious drive apparently lives in Canada....
Wow. What an idiot. I love that the cop just waited for him. That's far from the most oblivious thing I've ever seen though. Come to NY and drive for a day without losing your shit.

NYPD Common/Well Known Vehicles
As a resident NY-er, I'd say cp702's list is probably the closest to accurate. NYPD has everything under the sun. For general patrol, you'll most likely see: Impalas Fusions of current and previous gen More Impalas GMC Savannas/Ford Econoline vans Altimas Escapes FPI/Taurus Slicktops (Part of a traffic enforcement program, most precincts have at least one AFAIK) FPI/Taurus (Marked/unmarked) CVPI's Previous gen Ford Explorers Pretty much in order of most to least common. CVPI's are still in service, but they're dropping like flies. Many of them still have older equipment on em. One place you will still see a lot of them though (because 2011's were stockpiled)...... Highway Division: Chargers (Marked/unmarked/slicktop) CVPI's (Marked/Slicktop/unmarked) FPI's are becoming more and more common, have yet to see a slicktop but there's marked and unmarked units out there. FPIU's are also starting to become more common, though they're still far from your run of the mill RMP. Again, more or less in order from most to least common. The Impala is probably the most ubiquitous vehicle they run right now.

NYPD Altima RMP (ELSv8)
This will very likely see a release in the near future. Although it may not look like it in the screenshots, this car still needs quite a bit of polish. I put this together as a prototype to test the light setup. The test was a success, in my opinion, so I'll be doing more NYPD RMP's like this soon (videos to follow soon, btw). I may swap the message board out as well, as I don't think many (if any) 09-10 Altima's have them. That message board in particular was taken off Lt.Caine's fictional "V-Type" bar, so I'd like to replace it with a more realistic model in the future as well. (BTW, if anyone's got a Whelen message board they'd like to donate to the cause, PM me! I'm shiite at scratch modeling lights.).

NYPD Altima RMP (ELSv8)
From the album: Miscellaneous
After seeing that SkylineGTRFreak released his Altima model unlocked today, I had to jump on the opportunity to try my hand at making an accurate, ELSv8 compatible version of one of my hometown's RMP's. Light patterns are as realistic as can be with ELSv8. Has working multi-stage lighting, accurate to NYPD standards (shown here), with more features planned. -

Callout "Traffic Backup"
I love the sound of that! Having used this script for a while now, I have to admit that this is my favorite callout, hands down. It's one of the few that really adds depth to the world, and makes it feel like you're not the one doing all the work. This is exactly the type of thing we need more of.

[WIP] "MyNYPD UHD" - An Ultra High Definition Texture Megapack
I just wanna say I'm glad you're working on this. As a resident NY-er myself, this is a project I've been wanting to tackle for a long time, but have never had the time to do. In my opinion we've long needed proper NYPD skins in this community, and yours by far are the only ones so far that meet my absurdly high standards for accuracy in this regard. I'm stoked to see the rest of this pack finished. Also, it's too bad we don't have a proper Fusion to work with (or Escape). Keep it up! I'll be watching this project like a hawk.
