  1. I would assume you’re using the latest version of complete edition and not a downgraded patch. You will need the Compatibility Patch when using LCPDFR Legacy Edition.
  2. LCPDFR loader itself won’t cause issues. Internally, the Loader loads LCDPFR and LCPDFR plugins. Without any logs not much help can be provided, though I would recommend, 1). Using a clean/fresh install of GTAIV without any game modifications. 2). Re-install LCPDFR alone (Legacy Edition, with Compatibility Patch) If crashing persist, please provide ScriptHookDotNet log.
  3. I would locate the GTA IV folder, right click > properties > (Uncheck read-only & Apply changes to this folder, subfolder, and files) > Click Security (tab) -> Click Advanced (Button) > Click Change next to Owner at the top > In the box type "Everyone" > Click Check Names > Click Ok > Click apply > Double click Everyone in permission entries, and set full permissions. Click ok > Apply > And OK out of everything and you're done. Also, please extract the contents from the zip. This is very bad practice on installing things with administration permission. Hope this helped.
  4. To see the police stations on the map you have to be on duty. Case closed.
  5. The latest version of this game is patched. In order to use mods (lcpdfr) you must first downgrade the game in order to be able too.
  6. Normal police models will not work. They need to be ELS compatible. If you didn’t know there is downloads. Within downloads you have mods for GTA IV. Within those downloads, you can find vehicle models, and the most important thing is the filters. This is filtered with all ELS compatible models, and most popular (downloaded) http://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta4mods/vehicle-models/?since=all_time&advanced_search_submitted=1&csrfKey=ce94ba930e7447ed93df7c8c8578fe6a&downloads_field_2=&downloads_field_3=&downloads_field_4=ELS&sortby=file_downloads&sortdirection=desc have fun.
  7. This isn’t related to LCPDFR. This is due to your file system permissions. With steam, it shouldn’t have been an issue, but in this case you should probably set your permissions for all files/folders to be accessed by gfwl installation.
  8. Lol, where's your Num Lock?
  9. Unfortunately, I think the new client can only connect to official servers, however you can create a private session, and invite friends. Yes, following the steps will lead you to guarentee if you do it correctly. All you need to do is keep a backup of paul.dll, apply the old patch from the old patch update, put back Paul.dll, then launch the game via (Steam). ONLY run via steam if you haven't before. I recommend running the game via steam before downgrading. Run the game until you can move your character and exit out and proceed downgrading. This will fix license issues. if you don't care for online (private sessions), there's a mod for that, however it's something that you shouldnt worry about, unless it effects lcpdfr in a way, but as said the game must be activated first. I am unsure about pirates games.
  10. In that case, looks as if your vehicles are damaged.
  11. We don't provide torrented support. You don't need to use a launcher to play the game, but sorry you didn't get an answer about your outdated version of the game. Theres 'Required' packages needed in order for the game to work, including all files. This has nothing to do with GFWL. if you have steam, run the game once. If you're going to use mods follow my downgrade tutorial.
  12. The lag is called with the game performance. This never happened too me only once when I found out my graphics card was dead lol. Also, you can't be pressing multiple keys while using the menu. It kindof like loses focus.
  13. Haha, it's possible. Wasn't back then though. A lot of work though. You might as well forget it. I could do it, but I don't think I'll ever have time too.
  14. Its easy, but against for copyright. However, don't use lcpdfr dsound/asi loader. Use the default from the trainer itself. Make sure the files of lcpdfr contents and scripts installed. You don't need xboxliveless. Yes you can play online. That's your risk of doing so, if you do play privately. When you downgrade you can only play privately. Can you contact my privately? I can help. Also. Laptop or desktop? And original or EFLC. Thx
  15. Updated with more clarity. Good luck
  16. Oh mybad, you're on GTA V. That game is too immature and unrealistic. I only play iv. Plus I still enjoy my private modding in that area, even for consoles (Not NextGen)
  17. Well since I apparently, "Jumped to a conclusion", I guess "Pirated" doesn't work. Therefor, if this is really important, and time wasting for others, it should've been given a simple answer a long time ago. As of what I said, you did clarify in fact that you did say you did as that, but what else is there to do at this point? P.S: It also can be a mod issue, and also you can't use the radio in the police car, rather or not you're on duty. Are you on the wrong forums?.
  18. Where are you storing them? It doesn't scan your entire computer for tracks. Store them inside `Documents\Rockstar Games\GTAIV\User Music` Scan, and then in-game. Change the station to independent radio
  19. Currently, I don't acknowledge torrent usage. I currently have the steam version of EFLC. There wouldn't be no difference in using either or. You should'nt have had too do that. But if that worked, then congrats.
  20. I've had one person report about this issue, and it looks common for low end PC's especially laptops. Make sure that you do this on a clean GTA IV installation, meaning make sure that all the content, and the game folder is deleted. Also, I have not tested this, nor the patch above with original gta/lost and damned, only EFLC. This post was originally for EFLC, but I've provided documentation for both hoping that it'll be the same, which I don't think there's no difference. I'll do some research. In the mean time, you can try a commandline for example and see if that'll fix your memory issues. Also, can you provide your computer specs? Thanks.
  21. If you're having problems then pass me your steam, and I'll contact you as soon as possible.
  22. Re-uploading... Well, Sorry for the late reply, I really haven't played that often, not much really of lcpdfr. The link has been updated. Thanks for keeping me updated.
  23. I updated my post one last time for more clarity for downgrading instructions. Don't confuse yourself. I thought this community would be smart enough to figure it out, without explaining in depth. No, there is not a script hook release for 1.0.8.0 YET, this tutorial now suits GTA IV ORIGINAL. If your game does not start, you did the downgrade wrong, and you need to re-install the game back fresh. Deleting all the content that exist when deleted, removing all mods. If you so however cannot log in via the social club launcher, then yes you will need to update. However, if you have successfully signed into the social club launcher atleast ONCE, just remove the "paul.dll" file from the game directory in which you'll then be able to bypass the social club launcher (And still be able to play online). I've made a post if I could however continue the development of first response, but I didn't even get a response. Maybe I should ask again. I would love to continue the development of first response. Anyways, for the people that have got there game updated, this is the tutorial they will have to follow. The old social club launcher is patched and cannot be used for the people who uses the pirated version, which the update exist, which you can manually update, and downgrade and use the new method of signing into social club, and having the ability to play online. Once script hook releases an update for 1.0.8.0 this post will become useless, and you'll then be able to update, without having to downgrade. However, lcpdfr could potentially be broken after the fact.
