I have run GTA IV before fresh without any additions, I also logged on to the Windows Live thing whilst playing the campaign.

I have now downloaded LCPDFR automatic install and now the game wont run at all.

It will go to the social club page and then wont run after that, task manager doesnt show the game even attempting to run.

The latest version of this game is patched. In order to use mods (lcpdfr) you must first downgrade the game in order to be able too.

This is very easy to fix. 

 

Go to your GTA IV dirctry, where your game installed. Find a file named "Paul.dll" remove it to your desktop. 

 

And install xlives.dll

 

 

I'll give this all a go and if it works then no dramas if not then I'll be back...
