I'm trying to configure GTA V's Self Radio but it does not want to cooperate. I'm using the Retail version; does it only work on PC for Steam?

No, Self Radio dose work on the retail copy, I have used it.

It's not finding my .MP3s in the scan

Where are you storing them?

It doesn't scan your entire computer for tracks. 

 

Store them inside `Documents\Rockstar Games\GTAIV\User Music`

 

Scan, and then in-game. Change the station to independent radio

Yeah that's what I do. The files are in there, don't jump to conclusions. There isn't an option for the radio for some reason in the default radio selector.

Try adding more songs, I remember reading somewhere that you need at least 4-5 songs or something like that.

Well since I apparently, "Jumped to a conclusion", I guess "Pirated" doesn't work. Therefor, if this is really important, and time wasting for others, it should've been given a simple answer a long time ago. As of what I said, you did clarify in fact that you did say you did as that, but what else is there to do at this point? 

 

P.S: It also can be a mod issue, and also you can't use the radio in the police car, rather or not you're on duty. Are you on the wrong forums?.

I know I can't use it in a police car. And GTA V Support sounds right to me. Asshole.

Oh mybad, you're on GTA V. That game is too immature and unrealistic. I only play iv. 

 

Plus I still enjoy my private modding in that area, even for consoles (Not NextGen)
