I've followed all the guides, videos ans steps online to installed all the Microsoft programs. Finding it difficult as I'm still getting the error, any help please! Being trying all day!

Since nobody reply that means this is a really complicated problem,

 

I used to have this problem, but it was a "glitch", I stared the game again it works fine,

 

 Are you running GTA IV by steam or launcher? I think launcher is more stable for game play with mods, right click launcher run as adim, steam used to have this problem when click "play",

 

If possible, backup all your mods files, then do a clean reinstall, it only will take minimum one hour, then run GTA IV again. 

 

I know GTA IV is a really unstable game special to play with mods, but it is what it is, there are a lot of things we can learn to make game better, IV details are better than V, that's why it caused so many issues and crashes, but this is what we deal with.

We don't provide torrented support. You don't need to use a launcher to play the game, but sorry you didn't get an answer about your outdated version of the game.

 

Theres 'Required' packages needed in order for the game to work, including all files. This has nothing to do with GFWL.

 

if you have steam, run the game once. If you're going to use mods follow my downgrade tutorial.
