I have seen that video, and yes I agree that they really need some proper weaponry, but they did take that guy down at the end without the use of any guns. Quite impressive. The gun crime incidents in the UK you get your numbers from are the number of gun crime incidents reported. The real figure could be quite different. In some areas of London (probably in Birmingham and Manchester as well), there is some discontent with the local police force, and alot of people are too afraid to call the police in an incident for fear of their neighbors and friends thinking they are grassing and retaliating for that. So some people take the matters into their own hands, and thats where it turns messy.

Over here beat cops are getting tasers soon. I dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. Crime rate in C.London is over the average, so the environment requires one, but there are too many complaints of police brutality from civilans, so arming cops with tasers might not help much. The main deterrence for firearms in the UK is the strict import laws and the fact that if an armed incident occurs, professional backup/response teams respond (multiple units, look at SCO19 for instance). But people can still get them if they know the right contacts (black market). What I dont understand is how that nut got access to grenades - were they military grade or home made explosives? The problem is in that case, because regular police officers are unreasonably armed for that situation, there isnt much they can do and its too late until armed response arrives... the one thing they cant do is prevent a murder of an officer - they can get the criminal afterwards, but the criminal has the element of suprise. In the US cops are armed, so atleast they have some sort of protection (still the criminals they face are armed with AKs and M16s...)

People are saving your skin to their PC via the image you attached (I think). I think you should smooth the LA badge a bit. Good approach using the city badge instead of a specific police department, this opens doors for people who use CHP and LAPD together to use it in the same game.

Tried that, however it resets the camera view to under the car. Played around with the player alpha level, seems to do the trick. Only downside is that you have to enable/disable this each time you change your view and get in or out of a vehicle. It would be nice if someone released an updated version of the first person mod that does this automatically.

As the title says, is there a way (using a trainer or mod) to hide the arms/player model when using the first person mod in a vehicle? Many times the arms are misplaced, and I would rather have just a steering wheel than arms touching through the dashboard.

Tested it - yelp is now about 25% louder than the wail, still loud but not as much as before. The HILO is a little loud like the yelp, but its much better than it was before. And could you please add the pier/phaser like theman441 suggests? AFAIK I dont think American police departments use HILO as much as they use the phaser.

Is there a first person mod that only modifies the pedestrian view? I want to use the dash cam and the first person. I dont want the driver view (which disables the dash cam for some reason). Or is there a mod out there that has the option to disable in-vehicle first person but keep pedestrian first person enabled? The reason is, that some of the police cars I am using (especially the british ones) for some reason have low quality/incomplete cockpits with over tinted windows, and I would prefer a functional dash cam then a view I am not going to use.

Just tried the updated ones and the wail is fine, but the yelp is like twice as loud as the wail, and the hilo is too quiet. Also the hilo isnt the SS2000 one but more of the touchmaster sound.
