Sounds like the same siren sounds on the Federal Signal website but modified with some echo effects.

Nice editing, I'm downloading this. I like the alley effect on the wail sound. Could you tell me what specific effect was used there?

Thanks. You are right. The original siren tones was extracted off the Federal Signal Corp. product page. I modified them with Audacity using a plugin called Ambiance, which is basically a reverb program that applies different environmental settings. For these siren tones i applied the outdoor and echo settings. Enjoy them!

Ah thanks. It works quite well and gives the impression of a police car siren down the street.

I just tested your sirens ingame and they are very nice, but they are a bit quiet. You should raise the volume of the sounds, also the phaser is a bit choppy. And is there a way to get rid of that flange-like effect on the original yelp files? (Like the fed sig website ones.)

Sure, i will amplify them this afternoon and replace the current ones. I have no idea how they sound in-game, so would it trouble you if you can record a short in-game clip for demonstration?

Edit : Sirens are updated with amplified tones and Hi-Lo.

Just tried the updated ones and the wail is fine, but the yelp is like twice as loud as the wail, and the hilo is too quiet.

Also the hilo isnt the SS2000 one but more of the touchmaster sound.

Thanks for pointing that out. I fixed the Yelp and made it sound better ( or at the very least in-game!). Also i added the correct Hi-Lo and amplified. The file is updated and i hope you'll like it this time!

Tested it - yelp is now about 25% louder than the wail, still loud but not as much as before.

The HILO is a little loud like the yelp, but its much better than it was before. And could you please add the pier/phaser like theman441 suggests? AFAIK I dont think American police departments use HILO as much as they use the phaser.

Special thanks to Maikelnovic for the video. The Priority tone will be updated sometimes this week. Also comes with a bonus take down siren.
