I just got my game updated trying it out now still so far haven't been able to play with mods or scripthook ASIs or scripts so ELS is not even a thought for now lol are you on the new update? ELS could be affected it sounds like a ton of stuff got broken due to this update.......

Before the update this happened to me, I went to open iv uninstalled and reinstalled the asi loader and restarted computer and then it worked, you have to restart the computer though. I can't get scripthook v to work without crashing the game though so ELS is a no go at this point. I cannot load gta with mods folder or asis apparently cause I just loaded vanilla game through RAGE no issues. I will have to finish the game update at some point later though as I do not have the full MPChristmas2018 dlc since it got corrupted so once I update that properly maybe it will work but lot of people have my issue.

Same I tried running with turning off Open IV stuff and it crashes just before the version info splash screen...

How is this mod coming along? It would be awesome to roleplay turning on the snow mod, and driving down the road in a snow plow, too bad with the current snow mod tracks you can't actually push snow off the road, that would be cool, but either way just driving a snow plow in it would be fun! Great work, take your time, if you are still working on this I am very excited for it!

Having this problem too, only thing I can think is literally every new script download is blocked, so DLLs and regular configs xmls etc. everything including some new audio for LSPDFR scanner, I went in and unblocked all of those, with the exception of a few traffic police audio files as I didn't wanna waste more time going through each one unblocking in properties.. gonna try this and see if it works, Favignano was playing the Tornado mod just fine yesterday, so hopefully I can get it to work, I really wanna try that mod haha, but even before the update, everything was going good on RAGE 26 then one day it started crashing, didn't touch any addons or update but the whole HOOK crashed, same thing is happening, it loads the callouts as I can hear them then just before it goes in game RAGE crashes and all it says is HOOK, not a specific plugin so don't know what the issue is, maybe unblocking everything I did will help I don't know hope so though!

Just copied the new update rpf folder into my mods folder, copied out the mpchristmas2 from my mods folder as that had my vehicle addons, copied out another vehicle from a different folder, and ran it with mods folder still crashed at loading screen, guess this update stops me from doing the only reason I wanted the game for PC, playing with mods...

Had this same issue, downloaded the new winrar beta and it downloaded just fine, not sure why this happened with RAGE as other files extracted and downloaded fine, I updated Winrar as they said on RAGE site and now it works like a charm!

I copied the updated update.rpf to replace the one in my mods folder to change the game version, worked last update, game still crashes, maybe this is my problem too as I have several cars in Christmas2 due to the added vehicle slots mod, works so well, really don't wanna remove vehicles, wonder if this is my problem too though

Wow! Its amazing to think one year ago we were on an unstable but awesome LCPDFR on IV, and now this... its unbelievable! You guys are awesome!

Okay never thought of that, I will try the rebuild thing, and it was weird cause it always said the thing how RAGE was new but never did that where it made me restart after deleting the file, but anyway, before that RAGE still didn't work and was seeing on here that a lot of people it still didn't work, so I will wait for another RAGE version if it isn't fixed yet and hopefully it is just a false positive, can never be too safe in the internet world today, thank you haha

Wow, so apparently I can't use the Mods folder now as the game thinks its still version 393.4 only if I use mods folder, if I don't it works, so when it says 393.4 on splash screens it crashes before loading into story mode, also apparently during the Heist update I don't have 3 GB of DLC content, can't play online, not gonna spend 24 hours downloading that again as that is what it took due to my internet which kept going down during the update, and to top things off, for the first time ever while I got this new Rage update it didn't work, but for the first time my antivirus labelled it a security threat and made me restart PC to remove the threat, I am done with RAGE now don't trust them so guess my fun being a cop is over unless it gets switched to Scripthook, also guess I can't use the Mods folder modified addon cars etc. I have due to this new Rockstar update, this sucks, lol Rockstar said GTA 5 pc would be the best game ever they created, turns out from what I can see it is by far the worst, thought IV was bad but this is worse... just my thoughts/rants lol

Yeah everytime GTA 5 updates it always takes my internet down and then when it reaches the end after like an hour of downloading (already crappy internet) it restarts the whole download over, finally downloaded after like 5 tries and 5 hours lol but not as bad as that 5 GB update when I first got the game, took 20 hours...

Yeah I downloaded the new scripthook for the new map editor update, and got the new RAGE but just in case mods break I copied all the previous RAGE version files into a backup folder so worst case scenario I will just rollback and wait for the plugins to update

Does the game freeze when you hit F4? I have that issue where I can't see the console but the game freezes so I can blindly type stuff in, think its because of the low resolution I have to use.. if that is the case I am not sure what the fix is.. however, if the game doesn't freeze when you hit F4, check your RagePluginHook.ini file and in it under the plugintimeoutthreshold, should be ConsoleKey=F4.. if that isn't in there then just type it just like that ConsoleKey=F4 and that should work!

I tried all of this.. and still the console doesn't appear, I press F4 and the game pauses and I can blindly type stuff in, but there is no console, and can't see the RAGE pluginhook stuff at the bottom right of the screen, the pluginhook is running because it loads the plugins, and I can type stuff in blindly but cannot see the console.. also can't see FinKone's Police Radio, my resolution has to be at 800 by 600 I wonder if that is why? Also I don't have the option for DirectX11 and the log file for RAGE always says Failed to Create D3D11 device and then says Fallback attempt failed. I am not sure why the console won't appear, maybe it is because of the screen resolution, but I have tried windowed mode, tried temporarily setting it to 1920 (monitor resolution) and still the console doesn't appear just freezes game and I can blindly type stuff in.. I don't know, anyone know if any of these things could be causing the issue?

First of all, I loved your Rescue mod for GTA IV and am so excited for this one! I don't know the capabilities in V, but is there a way you could add a Wildland Fire type call where you get dispatched to a forest/brush fire that spreads and you can have a couple different alarms and engines respond to it? I don't know if this is possible, but it would be an awesome enhancement to the game if you could respond to wildland fires too though! Don't know if this is possible, but just a suggestion/question..
