  1. I must not be getting the new file because it says nothing in it about installing there but will do
  2. I downloaded the PoliceRadio mod and i cant seem to get it to work no matter what i do. I have the right version along with the compatiable version of RageHook and it still wont load it. I get this error in my Rage log [8/23/2015 10:23:07 PM.289] Console variable 'WarnOnPluginLoad' is false, will allow plugin to load. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  3. ​ .awc files are a packed audio file folder. So for instance, if and when OPENIV is able to open these(i havent downloaded the update yet to play around) it will bring up a list of the sound files that are in that folder. For instance, just like GTA IV with the .ivaud file, it was just a packed folder with audio files. That is what the .awc file is. Once you are able to open it, you extract the file inside of the folder you want to change, or import the file you want to put in it and then openiv will repackage it. Maybe another program will come around like GTAIVAUD or whatever it was called lol
  4. Well, in my search to try and change the sirens for gta, ive come up to a wall. Considering my very poor skills with scripts and such, im not sure what to do. I found the siren file, which seems to be in an awc format, which i have to idea what program could convert or edit it. As well as i know there is more than one siren so im assuming that all the sirens are packed into this one .awc file. I'm just not sure where to go from here. If anyone knows of a program that i can use to extract/convert to see the audio files that would be great. Otherwise its beyond me with my self teaching.
  5. As i read through the forums on GTAForums, everyone is asking about online and if its going to be able to be used online, and then i read the other posts about people freaking out about it. Looking at both sides, i understand people not wanting this to be available online because of the immature people that would use it to their advantage instead of playing fair. I get that. Now, to my side. Being a huge supporter of online roleplaying such as LCPDFR, this is a very usefull tool. It will incerase gameplay experience and fun. Personally, i wouldnt use this unless i was in a private session roleplaying. It's a HUGE step into the roleplaying world for GTA V and i just dont think that people are realising that most just want this to become what GTA IV had which is LCPDFR. With respect to both sides of the conflict, if its even possible to have what we did with GTA IV, i hope everyone can just get along with it and learn to enjoy the game, and whatever addons other people might make. Even thought people have already pathced it to work online

  7. I have the same problem on multiplayer. If I even get that far. Single player seems to do fine for me
  8. I can play the story mode of GTA 5 on PC forever without it crashing but as soon as i start to play online, my game crashes. Does anyone know why this could be happening or how i could fix this issue?
  9. I downloaded the Code 3 RX700 lightbar, edited it some, and mapped it. In zmodeler, the textures show up fine. In OpenIV, the textures show up fine and are there for the lightbar but when i get in game, the ELS dont flash. I can hear the ELS activate but the textures arent showing up. Im not sure if anyone else has had this problem or just knows why this is happening. Maybe its a texture issue, im not sure. Help would be very appreciated. I can't seem to figure out whats causing it. Maybe i texture gets messed up when i edit the lightbar to the way i want it. I really dont know. Thanks guys.
  10. I download a light bar, mapped it, edited it some and put it on a charger that I'm putting together. It exported fine with no problem along with the vehicle. When i open it up in OPENIV, the textures show up and everything is fine but, when i spawn the police car in game, the lights wont flash. Anyone know what the issue is? Could it be a hierarchy problem? Thank you! UPDATE: After trying to use the lightbar on a different vehicle, it still didnt work so i think its my lightbar. Im not sure if its a texturing issue or not since the textures load when i open the vehicle in OpenIV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  12. Hey guys! Need a little bit of help here, I have the Quadraflares from SSanchez10 Modifications and I'm using the half model. I re-textured it so it would flash red. When i went in game, the light did flash red like it was supposed to but, when it wasn't flashing red it was staying lit white. It stays white even if ELS isn't activated. I'm not sure if this has something to do with one of the mapping textures that is on the light model itself or not. If anyone knows why it might be doing this or if someone has used these and figured out how to fix it, some help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you community!

  15. Okay so, I'm using the quadflares made by SSanchez10 Modifications and I'm using the half quad. Now the glass isnt mapped so it doesn't have a color which is good because i wanted it to be white. So i copied the model and did everything to make it a wig wag of sorts. (The same routine for the headlights.) The problem is, no matter what i do, the light is always lit up on the vehicle. as soon as i enter the vehicle it just goes to a steady burn and wont flash with the rest of the lights. Im stumped over this and have been working on it for hours trying to see if i could get it to work but no luck. I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me at all. I have no idea what to do... Or, if someone know if there is an ambulance light out there that just flashes white, that'd be great. I really can't figure out why it would just remain sold no matter what. Im so confused lol. Hopefully someone knows a solution or a light that i could get. Thanks!

Even though it is the vanilla game, there should be something somewhere that tells the game what siren goes to what vehicle, considering some vehicles ave different horns and the firetruck yes has a different siren horn as well that is separate. I think it may be possible it would just take some time digging through files and figuring out how each wav file is attached to each vehicle through the HORNS.ivaud file. Seeing that i don't see how there would be a different way to do it except for there being a script to play those files for each vehicle.
  18. I was sitting here and just thinking about changing sirens in my game for use of the fire dept but, the fact that the police would have the same siren aggravates me. So i was just thinking to myself if there was a way to have separate sirens for the vehicles. I'm not completely sure on how GTA IV works with the sirens being attached to a certain vehicle but from my limited amount of scripting and modding experience, shouldn't there be a file somewhere or a few that attaches that sound clip from the HORNS database to the the vehicle? If so, you could add other sounds to the database and attach those to say, the police vehicles or the model name, so that that vehicle would use that siren instead of the one my fire dept would use. I know the games that I've messed with usually work somewhat in that way. I know you would probably have to add more than just one scripting line to a few files and like i said, I'm not sure if it is possible or if someone has already tried it but, i feel like it might be able to be done. If not, we've all lived with it for years haha.

    This is a EMS Supervisor fictional skin for Liberty City. Skin was thrown together very quickly so feel free to change it if you'd like. I tried to make the lighting on the vehicle nice but at the same time not make it look like a Christmas tree. This is my first vehicle and skin that I've released to the public. I will try and post a video of the vehicle soon! You may edit any of it since you can get all of the required parts online. Have fun and enjoy!

  21. And make sure you have the LCPDFR mod turned on..and what help do you need with installing mods? Most come with instructions on how and where to install
  22. ALWAYS make a backup. Anyway, run the game as an admin. In your gta iv directory make a text document titled commandline. So it should look like this commandline.txt After you do that open it up and type - availablevidmem 100 After you have done that launch your game and before you press start go to your graphics setting and set everything to low. See if that works first.
