  4. Yeap! Actually, I lived abroad due to my father's field of work, so I hadn't felt earthquakes all that much. This was definitely the worst one so far. My entire desk was shaking uncontrollably, and it has a lot of old memories on it, so I'm glad those didn't shatter.
  5. Recently, there have been a string of unexpected earthquakes in the So Cal area, especially in Orange County. The earthquake measuring a magnitude of 5.1 in La Habra was felt all the way down in Mission Viejo, and as far north as the northern neighborhoods of Los Angeles. As well as having the one measuring 5.1, there has been an earthquake measuring 3.6 in La Habra, a 2.9 in Brea, a 2.7 in Brea and one aftershock. I felt all of them, however, all seems to be okay in Irvine. I'll update you guys some more soon.
  6. Thanks for the help guys. I have 2 hard drives - and SSD running Windows and an HDD running everything else. My SSD is pretty much full, so I set Firefox to download to my other drive. For some reason, it won't download to the other drive. I'm trying to figure out why it does that.
  7. There has been a theory that was posted on Google+ by Chris Goodfellow. Goodfellow stated that the front landing gear could have caught on fire, causing the plane to divert. In an effort to prevent the fire from spreading, the pilots may have turned off some of the electrical components that weren't 100% necessary to get to an airport nearest to them. Unfortunately, the pilots ran out of time, and smoke may have filled the flight deck, causing the pilots to lose consciousness. With nobody to command, the plane may have flown around until all the fuel was exhausted, causing the plane to dive toward the ground. That is one theory, or the fire could have spread to the electrical components in the flight deck, also causing the plane to crash.
  8. The AMR one is really nice. I don't think a medical emergency response company would be named "XTREME", though. On top of that, the "XTREME" liveries aren't that great. Overall I'd say 3.5/5.
  9. I have. I guess I have to try *shudders* IE.
  10. I've been trying countless times to get Mediafire to work. Basically what happens is I click the download button, and it says downloading. The green arrows even point upwards but nothing actually downloads. I need to make this work desperately. Any ideas?!
  11. I did. I think I'm going back to that. I may try Prophet's ENB, though. Thanks!
  12. Well, I've been trying to look for an ENB. After being let down by TrueELS ENB (looked better in the screens than in game), I kinda want the ELS brightness of TrueELS and the the rest to be Savior's ENB. Any ideas? So basically, I want my lights to be nice and bright :P
  13. Ugh. This is terrible. American ships aren't on the scene are they? I wouldn't be disappointed if they were, because that's for a good call, and not for an uncalled war.
  14. Uh, no. Aliens descended from extraterrestrial planets using a thing called a "laskdfg joer g RAY" which zapped the plane straight out of the air. Then the aliens ate the flesh of the miserable travelers, sucking every bit of life out of their helpless souls. *clears throat* That'll be all.
  15. This is my first attempt at making something moderately complicated in 3Ds Max. It's pretty much close to done, but I still have to tweak certain things. Again, this is not 100% accurate. I'm going off a mix of what I've seen in IPD units and in this iteration of the siren box. Let me know what you think. Try to make the comments constructive and not demanding/inconsiderate/critical/judgmental or anything like that - because it is my first attempt at making something moderately major like this. I think I'll include a radio too, but I'm still debating whether I have the abilities to do that just yet. Maybe in a next version. This is just making an inference based off of previous comments from attempts somewhere close to this, so I'm not releasing it due to the fact I feel a lot of negative feedback will come out of it. I appreciate constructiveness, however not pure negativity that will not be beneficial. (let's not have a flame war over this)
  16. I wish I could access the website. Apparently they are "poking [their] servers with sticks" to fix it.
  17. Yeah. It only seems to be getting worse for the families of the travelers, 3 of which, were American. The wreckage (like it says on my post) was found on a satellite website, which could suggest that there aren't any survivors.
  18. Well. I have an update for you guys! A website by the name of DigitalGlobe, a Colorado based firm, owns one of the world's most advanced satellite networks. After the discovery of what appears to be a plane looking object made by Mike Seberger, 43. Although it looks more like a boat, there is a possibility this could be the wreckage of the mysterious flight that suddenly disappeared from the radar.
  19. Yeah, I know, I'm taking sergiyj's comment seriously here, but, crash landing is a possibility - however.... they may be at some sort of deserted base. An electronic failure is likely, or (this usually happens in most cases), the engineer who serviced the plane last could have made a fatal error, that caused a situation like this.
