  1. Well, I guess there's no other way then. Try to see if a friend of yours has the IV CDs & get a image file from him, to burn into your own CDs.
  2. Happy Birthday Sam! Hope you have a great day & get lots of Food as gifts!
  3. Thanks for the update Sam. Waiting to see how this site will look with IPS 4 :D
  4. It's been asked & answered many times before, but again:-- It depends on GTA:V & how it works. Only in the months after it's released on PC can anything be said for sure. Personally, I'm optimistic & say we should see LSPD:FR coming; not anytime soon tho. Still a loooong road ahead.
  5. I love how everyone is arguing about whether a game will have mods or not 2 months before release. Bunch of fortune tellers here :DD
  6. BEST. VIDEO. EVER!! I can already feel the hype. Also, now we finally know what those "useless" sight purchases were for. Man that looks good.
  7. You're a late comer, we know taxi. Sergiyj told us all about it! 22.
  8. O. M. G. WE WON! YAY!!! ( Party @ (Dr.) House's place!! http://z0r.de/2133 )
  9. 18! ( I know a 100% that the next post or the one after is gonna be a dev/mod. Who wants to bet? )
  10. 13 ( *winces again, now being sure a Mod post will come very soon* )
  11. 10!! ( *winces again, anticipating the same as last time* )
  12. 6 ( *winces, in anticipation that the next post will be by a Mod* )
  13. Yep, pretty safe where I live. I don't think I've read about any crime in my area since a while now. There are the occasional hate-related crimes happening in other areas, but that's the backward thinking of some of the older citizens.
  14. Nope. School & Games keep me busy. Plus I don't want to betray my left hand <3 On the off-topic of gamer girls: Yeah, there are quite a few gamer girls. It's just that they're in a minority & probably feel oppressed by the usual attitude games have towards female characters (games, not gamers). I even know of one who pretends to be a boy unless you get real close to her. Plus, gaming is like a "male dominated" scene. You won't readily see a whole lot of females, but they're there.

  16. Oh yes, of course! *smacks forehead with open palm* Thanks a bunch for that & the cleaner program. clrscr became almost a habit of sorts, since we use Turbo C++ in our school & that intro box when running a program irritates me I don't completely understand the Dynamic number count program, but I think I got the jist of it & am saving it for future figuring-out & reference. One question: Any idea as to how the cout lines somehow patched (or more like, Band-aided) the fault in my program?
  17. Hiya! So, for a Computer Science class assignment, there's a question about the user inputting 2 separate arrays, then the PC has to sort them; 1 ascending, 1 descending. Then merge them into a third array & sort ascending. Then, output all 3 arrays. Since we haven't learnt anything aside from simple loops (for, while, do-while), I used a for loop (even tho I researched & figured out how to use std:sort). I made a program for the user to input 2 separate arrays & sort 1 in ascending, & another in descending & to output them both. Long story short, it didn't work & I couldn't figure out why. So, I created another program to just input 1 array & sort it. It didn't work either. So, to debug, I put it to output everything as it processes it. And by magic, it worked perfectly. Then, by slowly removing each debug line, I was left with 2 cout lines that, if removed, screws up the sorting. The program:- The cout lines in question are:- I know, the program could've been done in a better way. But I want to figure that out myself. I'm going to be asking my teacher why this happens next week (school is currently closed for us here), but in the mean-time, I wonder if anyone here has a thought on why this happens. (This program has been written, compiled, & run using Borland C++ v5.02)
  18. How come? The way I figure it, monitors won't discriminate b/w what software is being run, just the pixel data received. So, if a monitor is faulty, wouldn't the chances be same; whether game or recording software? But, yeah, like cp702 said, it's still better to connect to your TV & see if the lines are still there. That is basically the best & easiest test to do. And size doesn't matter; whether the TV's big enough to take a wall or smaller than your monitor, it'll still be the same, only thing is more bigger = less clearer. Also, if you have a spare cable lying around, try connecting using that too (if the lines are present on the TV).
  19. Does it make life easier for you? 100% easier. How do you use technology on a daily basis? Forums, Youtube, Chatting, Games, & Research/Study. Your opinion on schools using technology? Should be used more, while still be useful. Kids love technology, & it will only make studying more fun, instead of a "boring chore". How schools in your area use technology. PCs for learning Computer Science, that's it. What do you own? Laptop, desktop, tablet, smartphone, E-reader? Desktop, Laptop, & (a currently broken) smartphone What kind (Brand/Model/OS)? (Please do not start a brand/OS war) Acer Aspire Laptop, Custom Desktop, & a cheap-ass "intro to smartphones world" Intex smartphone. Have you cut your cable/satellite provider for a streaming service like Netflix, Hulu, ect? Or do you still have a provider? I've always had Cable. However, to catch-up on latest seasons, I use the (non-paid) internet services. Do you still have a home phone? Or, if you do not, since when have you not had one? Yes, I find it neccessary. Especially since calls from home phones to anywhere is unlimited ( "free" ) for just $90 a year. Do you read books? If so, do you prefer paper/hardcopy or ebooks? Yes, Paper always. I tried eBooks, but it didn't have the same ....... charm as a real, touchable book.
  20. Like theninja said, it's probably de_dust Other than that, I can only think of deterioration over time, but the time factor is way too low. My laptop is almost 2 years old now, & most of those 2 years it's been spent playing games; meaninig 90°+ temperatures. (Yeah, I know it's bad. But what else do I do for a broke teen?) I'm interested to know what fixes your problem. :D
  21. Welcome to the LCPD:FR Forums! Hope you have a pleasant stay with us And Best of Luck with saving up money to buy the game, it'll be worth it for the hours & hours of fun you will have :D
  22. ^^^ Probably Reinstall & try again. Also, do other ELS functions work? The menu, etc. Because if they don't, then it's likely that ELS wasn't installed correctly, or you're missing something.
