  1. Back on the main topic, this is 1 of 2 things. 1. An actual countdown to LCPDFR 1.0 (Yay) 2. Website got hacked, causing a fake countdown to excite everyone which would be cruel...and unlikely. I pick 1 :), we'll have to wait and see now wont we?
  2. Said to release sometime THIS year, hopefully by the end of December we see something from LCPDFR 1.0 :D. the wait is killing me, it looks amazing just from the preview.
  3. Oh boy, what a wonderful thread :D my thoughts on the GTA 5 Ai is good but too aggressive. Pursuits could be interesting but the speed of the cars would have to be nerfed a shit-ton due to the fact they are as fast as bugatti's (I say that in a sense of, they are really REALLY fast). They dont hesitate to ram you off the road right away, and with the lack of car physics (Unless there was an update, I havent played GTA 5 in over a month) its kind of just un-realistic getting rammed off the road with only dents or a scratch in your car. but hey, mods can be made and it IS a Grand theft auto game. The new system of finding you when you hide is pretty improved, however they do tend to know your general location almost instantly. I cant wait to see how good LSPDFR will be, If gta 5 would come to pc already :D. And maybe this time it wont be as un-optimized as gta 4 or ported over from a console ;=;. The medics and such seem to just investigate the body and walk away, so a coroner mod would probably still be needed in place for dead body's in the future. Calling in backup should be interesting due to the fact you have NOOSE that come down from helicopters, and police barricades at your disposal. and with there being one bank implemented in the game there could easily be a bank robbery callout to be adjusted. Hopefully the developers figure it all out quite well when the game releases for PC, and we see LSPDFR pretty quickly, but stable obviously (Dont rush it). Thats just my simple thoughts, then again its late, tired and not really thinking of much more than this. I just really think the cops should be less aggressive in pursuits and in general. But we have time until PC version of GTA 5, so lets worry about LCPDFR 1.0 first :)
  4. I'm on the lowest possible settings with a commandline.txt and a mod to get rid of the sky, and bright lights (Reducing lag) but thats not really relevant. To be honest, I had this before and if i remember correctly setting "PreLoadAllmodels = True" in FirstResponse.ini fixed this. Im going to test it later, i shouldnt of made a thread really. I'll mark it as solved because if that doesnt work, getting rid of the custom NOOSE models will.
  5. Upgrade your GPU to something like a GTX 660 or 650, should have at least 512MB of Video ram and 8 gigs of ram is recommended due to windows using some of it. Your CPu could use an upgrade as well, not lookin too great for GTA (Its very un-optimized for a PC game since it was ported over from console). However if you dont mind your lights looking a bit dull ingame, and no sky on certian times of day I have the perfect thing that actually helped me on the crappiest of laptops. Obviously you should be on low and have everything down in gta (Graphics settings), but try this fix. http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f5270-gta-iv-lag-fix-real-time-reflections-mod Place it in the corresponding folders. After adding it I gained a good 10 or 15 FPS and no longer lag when playing :D Good luck.

  7. ...Just simply rename the file, adding .exe to the end. It shouldn't be downloading as only a file, just rename it, and add .exe to the end that should make it run normally since there is no program to really select for exe's.
  8. Well i recently posted a topic about this but turns out it wasnt because of pursuits. Now whenever I try to call in NOOSE support (Wether it be a shoot out or a pursuit) the LCPDFR script starts breaking (Cant call in backup, map bugs, etc.). Reloading scripts then causes the "LCPDFR had an underhanded exception (Thread was being aborted). After that the map is buggy and i cant call in backup, which leads to my game crashing. so yeah, I cant call in NOOSE. I have a custom modeled noose car (ELS-enabled but ELS is disabled on it), a custom NOOSE swat-truck (Non-ELS enabled) and the small 4-door FIB car which is not custom/modded. It seemed to be working fine a while ago, i updated my scripthook so its not that, but i did have this before. Could it be the custom carmodels? and what can I do to fix it besides restore my entire vehicles.img file (I have a backup but im not finding all the other cars again, unless i can just restore the swat/FIB cars). Thanks.
  9. Try the newest patch off R*'s website. Post your computer specs and where you installed your mods to as well.
  10. If you are using the installer you should be picking your GTAIV folder (It should make a scripts folder on its own). ELS goes in root folder, LCPDFR should end up in GTAIV>scripts. Make sure you have the latest .net scripthook as well.

So once you arrest soembody, you hit the corosponding key for prisoner transport (It would say on the top left, f10 i think) and they dont spawn...Sometimes it can be the area you are in and they simply cannot spawn, sometimes you have to force it. After calling for a prisoner transport hit F12 a couple of times, as it says it will spawn more units in to come (if you have to walk around a bit and hit f12 2 or 3 times. You should start seeing the blue dots of them appearing).

  13. Quite possible, was there a newer version as of recently? i havent played GTA/LCPDFR in over 4 months or so. I'll try it and see if that works.
  14. I already have scripthook m8, everything else works fine (including the mods i installed, I had them a while ago), I'll try re-installing later on.
  15. Naw its all good. Anyways, the most recent thing I did was - Install LCPDFR - Install TowTruck mod (vdH), METT coroner mod (vdH) and thats about it really besides use contig (Trying to speed up my game). I can try re-installing lcpdfr again but not sure if it would work.
  16. Already tried many times, and i already have a commandline.txt, im on a craptop, you cant expect me NOT to have a commandline.txt setup. either way yeah reloading scripts just breaks it more after this happens. everything else works fine, just pursuits causing it.

Welp, starting today whenever I get involved in a pursuit (usually after doing other stuff like shootouts and stuff involving many officers) theres a 9/10 chance I can only call in one support/backup before the game decides to break and I get the unhanded LCPDFR exception. Source: MergedFirstResponse.net TargetSite: Void eval_LCPDFR-2(GTA.Ped)StackTrace: at eval_0.eval_0.LCPDFR-eval_3.eval_LCPDFR-2(Ped A_0) at CSharp.LCPDFR.Scripts.Pursuit.StartChase(Ped suspect1, Ped suspect2, Vehicle suspectVehicle, Vector3 startPos, Boolean noSecondSuspect, Boolean isWorldEvent) at FirstResponse.LCPD.PullOver.eval_LCPDFR-0(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1) Not sure what is causing it and its pretty much everytime now, I'll call in one support (f12 or f11), then any further lcpdfr functions stop working such as the following: Shift+Tab, Alt+B, callouts, etc. I have to reload scripts, then I get the 'LCPDFR had an underhanded exception" error of which my game stops rendering parts of the map, and causes other scripts to fail making me restart. seems to only happen with pursuits but its frustrating having to restart so often....not sure what i can do to fix it.

Well, I found that its pretty easy to just get in the car and turn them off myself (lol i was being lazy), the only other issue it really causes is lag when theres a bunch of them but i can expect that from ELS + my craptop, i'll just turn down the radius and the max ELS cars at once.   19. So you have the patch updater, you updated your game and you also have GFWL installed and logged into? If so, then Im stumped. Honestly an odd situation. just make sure you re-download GFWL and login with it, then launch your game.
  20. That COULD work, it would be a pain in the ass but it defeintly could work, dont know why i hadn't thought of that... I'll try it out, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle actually because I can just ALT+F12 and force myself onduty Edit: Did not work sadly ): they still stay on after reloading.

EDIT: Posted this before I saw your last reply, Erm...thats a problem and really I cant think of any reason that would happen besides your OS not being compatible, even if you ran compatibility mode... Just make sure you run the launcher as admin, and set GTAIV.EXE to automaticly run as admin and compatibility mode for windows 7 (Rightclick>Compatibility>Run as administrator checkbox>Compatibility mode windows 7). If it ran fine on your last computer, before this one then obviously its your specs or OS causing it, or your forgetting something that was required to run it... EDIT2 (Possible fix): Did you read the sticky on how to run gta on pc (Windows 8)? Theres a downloadable patch in there, I had to do that to get mine to work. - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Not the static ones, after the AI respond to a scene with their sirens and lights on (The full ELS flashing lights), they stay on forever after that unless you steal the AI's car, turn the lights off and park it somewhere which is a pretty big annoyance at a crime-scene with 4 or 5 copcars. So for you after the AI cops pull away, the lights are off? Not sure how Im getting this then... the annoying part about it is, i'll drive around the corner and see the same cop from 10 minutes ago, with his lights on full blast for no reason due to the responding to the scene. The creator of ELS should add a function ti disable all ELS lights in the area (Player and AI).

Welp, whenever i have ELS enabled for AI there comes an issue. after they are spawned and come to the situation that i called (Backup or a pursuit, etc.) once the event is over they drive off with the lights still on, so commonly I encounter cops patrolling with flashing lights due to ELS. Is there any way to force-deactivate AI ELS lights at a certian point or by force? As in, I would like to keep the value "Ai_Els_Sp = " to on and have them use ELS but I want the lights to turn off afterwards, rather than see cars driving around with lights on for no reason. Any command/fix to this or would i just have to deal with it being off all the time? Cause it looks pretty crappy when they just drive up with sirens and no lights Thanks.
  24. To sum it up the car physics are shit. In gta 4 there was a lot more smashing and dents into the car, now it's all scratches and marks sadly. as someone said on my thread before, a lot of kids were whining how they couldn't drive correctly and like the AI, so they took away a lot of the smashing to it for those kind of people who like to drive the right way =/. The physics engine aint as good as I thought it would be, besides body physics. I expected to be able to destroy buildings by now, or at least chip parts of it off. when gta V comes out on PC you gotta expect a realistic driving physics mod, or something similar.

Now this is a theory of mine (Unless all of you already know), but since there is no 6th star, one of them would be used to make the cops non lethal and try to arrest you, I was watching game play and at the first star they were already shooting. and it looks like you can easily gain them as well, This could very well mean no LCPDFR got GTA 5 when its out on PC because of there being no animation/script for arresting (Unless someone is smart enough to make one :3)...This is just what I noticed, there could still be one but I didn't see it. It kind of sucks IMO, I don't like to just start a firefight with the cops after I've only stolen a car...that's bull. So yeah is it just me or is there really no arrest wanted level anymore? Other thing I noticed, to add on is a lot of re-used sounds and animations. For example car jacking and cars, look and sound the same. Same horn sounds (unless customized of course), very...err crappy car physics, and just overall reskins of cars. I feel like rockstar could of done better if they waited another year to release it. Not to mention the story isn't long, from gameplay I have seen people get more than 50% within the game in under a day (Typicalgamer is 45% as of yesterday). But I still have yet to buy it when I can, maybe my mind will change if I try it and not depend on gameplay.
