  1. PC hardware, some components interact better with IV for some reason. It also depends on the mods, LCPDFR is more stable on some machines, maybe it's hardware or maybe it's software, it's difficult to tell. I generally don't change mods often and I remove any mods that aren't stable. ELS is pretty stable these days, at least if you have a "decent" PC and you use good* mods. LCPDFR seems to be the biggest offender in regard to stability right now. Most of my crashes happens whenever LCPDFR tries to do something with the AI. *mods made with in-game performance in mind.

  3. That sounds pretty odd, are you mirroring on the right axis and to pivot?

  5. Check your mirror settings and your hierarchy, be sure to disable "affect children" if you're mirroring a parent object. Regarding the avenger, apply flip (modify>flip) and recalculate your normals (surface>normals>calculate) after you mirrored, that should fix invisibility.

  8. I seem to have fixed the cars! Here's a quick non-commentary video of a crazy pursuit and shootout: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L65ZZUrQQMA

  12. Anywhere from 2 minutes to 5 hours. I can't really complain with the number of mods I use. Most games would be unstable if they were modded to the same degree as my IV is.
  13. I appreciate it, unfortunately: >Source
  14. It's very likely that I'll have to cancel the two Chargers and give up on the base model itself. Zmodeler seems to change random things that are either difficult or downright impossible to fix or even notice. Some polygons had their materials removed, the driver side door and boot was moved without me using the move tool. I updated the model over the week, I added new seats and reworked headlights and taillights. At some point the default material ended up corrupting, resulting in a material error upon export, it also adds a material called "vehicle_generic_small_specmap gta_default" that keeps appearing regardless of what I do, the error appears regardless of what I do, re-importing the model and deleting the material doesn't do anything. I have tried just about everything to fix this from merging or importing to a new scene or into a car model that works fine (impala, CVPI, Tahoe). The error keeps appearing regardless of what I do. It's at the point where I'm insane if I carry on. The model looks fine and works well on its own, but there's absolutely no way of knowing if adding just one piece of equipment will render it useless, I've spent many hours on it so far, I honestly should have let the model go much, much earlier. The lesson learned here is that you cannot make something good from something bad, the unlocked R/T model I used was awful. Every material was set up wrong and it has a bunch of mesh errors. Don't for one second think that this was unintentional, the base model was provided deliberately broken.
  15. Preloading models has always improved stability for me, even in 0.95.

  17. Yeah, the only person who's put that many lights on a K9 is Bugs, you can find his mods here

  19. I modified the way the rear lights is set up on the 2011 Charger, here's what it looks like now: The real life Charger has combined brakelight and indicators, however that's not possible on this model. I personally think that this is the best option, the tail-lights and brake lights are set up the way they are on the real life Charger as you're more likely to see those lights unless you use lil-rich's indicator mod.
  20. Thanks, another project: I might revive these two skins once the two Chargers are released:
