I'm only running LSPDFR, ELS and Albos mods and boy, after I added Albos mods, the FPS dropped 20-30. Is that normal? I mean I see people on youtube playing the game with high FPS and running albos mods gtx 1080 16gb ram

I actually have the same problem... weird. sometimes both headlights don't work... they go off Aw Fuck ! I fixed it.... I put the original Carvariations file and now all is good. hope it helps you too

I don't want my headlights to go on and off, but they do even if I set them to 0... If I set my indicator strobes to 0 then headlights won't go on and off, BUT I want the indicators to flicker. This actually only happens when I go stage 3. On Stage 2, indicator strobes work and front lights don't go on and off. I've downloaded police car mods, it has an extra option that adds push bars to the vehicle, but AI police cars around the map don't have the pushbar, how do I make them also spawn with the pushbar?

You are right. It's got nothing to do with Visualsettings.dat. I have played with all the numbers on there, and nothing. Are you still looking for it or did you give up lol? EDIT: oops, you did say you're still looking for it. NVM. Hope you find a solution man !! The lights loook really ugly 5-10 meters away from the car and it seems like it doesn't bother anyone lol... otherwise the community would find a fix for it

Has anyone figured out a way to make police lights look better and more shiny from a distance? They only look good when close up, I thought it was an ELS issue but I'm told it's the game's issue

A mod that splits Los Santos into a few Jurisdictions. say like 10 jurisdictions. Each Jurisdiction has a fixed amount of units patrolling the jurisdiction. When you enter a jurisdiction, you can see all the units randomly patrolling the jurisdiction on your map.... and when you ask for backup, those units respond to you. We'll have Code 2 backup, Jurisdiction Backup, and a Code 3 backup option. The code 2 works as usual except only units from the jurisdiction show up without lights and siren. The "Jurisdiction backup" is like code 3 but again, only from the jurisdiction. Code 3 in this case just randomly spawns more units just like the way it is... Once we are Code 4, all the police cars in the jurisdiction get repaired (so the cars don't stay beat up and ugly) Say Blain County Jurisdiction, it'll have 12 patrol vehicles just cruising around and 3 - 4 at the station. You can see them on your map cruising around too. This might require more memory? Not sure but very similar when you play the game online and you can see other players around the map It's very similar to how a big city police department operates. LAPD for example, you have different jurisdictions and every patrol car has a GPS that an officer can see on his map on their LAPD cruiser laptop... pretty cool system

I think it's an ideal fix as long as emissive changes value. I did, no help... But someone could easily write a script for this If player distance to emergency vehicles = 100ft Then vehicle.emissive = 3,000 If player distance to emergency vehicles = 200ft Then vehicle emissive = 20,000 And so on Something like that. It really looks good with a huge value from far, very realistic.... I'll post a video maybe :((( It's a simple script but no one has ever done it or can help. @Aldo1317 @Sam @Bxbugs123

Would writing a scrip for this use work? ... I'm gonna give a pesuedo code type example. Wanting "car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on" value to change if player is "x" distance away from certain vehicles (emergency vehicles in this case) Would something like that be possible to script?

I found a fix.... I set emissive.day and night to 150,000 HA HA ! Looks beautiful from far..... but very ugly from close..... Massive blooms from upfront, but very nice glow from a distance you think a script would do it? If player is x far from vehicle, emissive = 150k.... Coding stuff lol

hey guys, I haven't played GTA V for a while ( a few months).... but I did last night and I've noticed after the new update Rockstar made some upgrades to the graphics but they also took out BLOOM from lights, so police lights don't have the good ol bloom or glow, the coronas are there of course. Anyway to add the bloom back? I gotta mention that I never used or use graphic mods
