Well, im trying to get other ASI's to work, not particularly LCPD:FR.

Well, my LCPD:FR says mine is out of date. Should i just reinstall LCPD:FR or..?

Having not played GTA for some time, i forgot any ASI loader compatible with 1.0.7.0. Any one?

Just did a fresh install of K9 with models and sounds, no work, uninstall, installed ELS v5, having same problem. Something to do with scripts. Could be my asi loader, or something. YAASIL.

Erm, can anybody halp? When playing the game with the script installed, the screen where it loads the save (Loading-Blah blah blah) won't stop. Just continues loading.

Hard to back up a 18gb game.

I am aware of Abraxas and like his work very much. I'll have a look at Ekalb. Also, i'll go ahead and install ELS v5, LCPD:FR (For the gazillionth time after multiple game being ruined), and Police Helper and the addons for that.

Hi, i was wondering, i if i wanted to play LCPD:FR with no bugs, what you recommend to have to get the most experience with the least risk of failing? I have the steam fully updated GTA IV and all i want is LCPD:FR ELS and some recommended car mods, any ideas guys? No, this isn't a support thread, i have no problems. I am simply asking what the safest setup without messing up my game would be.

You have a good card already, so maybe the 560? Anything above that costs a hell of a lot, except the 670, which is good. You could just get a better PC or lower the settings.

You got an .asi loader in your directory? (xliveless,YAASIL, etc.) You got an .asi loader in your directory? (xliveless,YAASIL, etc.)

Download SparkIV or OpenIV or something else that opens .img files. Once you have done that and sucessfully installed the program, look for the componentpeds.img in the models folder of the GTA IV directory. Open it up, and scan for a police model you wanna change. This could be the fat cop, for example. Go ahead and search for cop if you want, or skip that and import the files you got in the file you download. If a thing comes up asking if you want to overwrite, click yes. Once this is done, rebuild the folder then save it and your done. (hopefully) The files you downloaded will replace the original models, and if you want you can rename them to match another ped instead of the designated one.

This may belong in the LCPD:FR support but alas, i can't start a new thread there so i shall make it here and hope it will get moved by an Admin. Everytime i get into a pursuit, a few seconds/minutes in this error comes up on my screen and GTA IV shuts down: gta iv fatal error -842150451100486800 Latest version, legit, only mods are Dashcam, FR, a few car mods, ELS, police helper and some other things. Everything is in the right place in my directory.

I do have skype, i don't have a mic though. You don't have to make a special version, not unless everyone was having the problem.

I set it to my monitors resolution, not the games resolution. (my CPU can't handle it) I'll try it now. And i didn't see anything at all. EDIT: Ok, now it appears, but i still cannot press anything.

1. Yes, nothing. 2. Last time i checked computer was messed up but i think that was a little glitch in LCPDFR, i managed to use it with Helper installed previously. 3. I couldn't see anything 4. Nothing happens. BTW, i can load up save files and the Helper is gone, but the glitch remains.

Yes, everything that dosen't involve actual gameplay is fine. EDIT: This includes every feature of the pause menu, and windows live menu.

Erm, the mod looks great and fun, but whenever i press x the game freezes, the thing comes up, but the mouse disappears and i can't press anything. Also the buttons don't have a box around them, just text.
