  1. That looks simply amazing, Sniper. Great work!
  2. Sounds like you need to download/update GFWL (Games For Windows Live). Go here, and go to the bottom of the page. Near the middle it will say Download. Click that, and install.
  3. Yeah I would love a solution to this. It is very hard to drive when the camera keeps going for a bumper shot of your car.
  4. Run as administrator. As a general rule, it's usually a good idea to run every program (games, vent, xfire, etc.) as an administrator.
  5. No problem. Enjoy the game!
  6. Hm...There used to be a topic here that was dedicated to solving the controller issue, and if I remember right, they found one. I can't seem to find the topic, however...It may have been lost when the last database died. If anyone remembers, it might be a good idea to post it again.
  7. Go into the Trainer's .ini, and look for DisableKeyBinds (or something similar), and change the value from 0 to 1.
  8. I have a new question. By not starting, do you mean that when you click the icon to start the game, nothing happens? If so, then you probably need to download GFWL (Games For Windows Live). Just click here, and go to the bottom of the page. Near the middle will be something that says Download. Click it, and do as it tells you.
  9. Make sure that your GTA IV folder is not read-only. To check this, right click on the Grand Theft Auto IV folder and click Properties. At the bottom of the screen is the read-only option. Make sure this is not checked.
  10. I would like to state for the record that on our old computer, we also had the Radeon HD 4600 Series. It could not run GTA IV for whatever reasons. I say it like this because I also never got any textures in-game. It was a while ago, but I do know that I also had modded vehicles, which I now know are what most likely caused my problems. >.< As stated by Harper, Also for the record, I don't want to imply that anyone's graphics card is crappy, it's just the way GTA IV was made.
  11. Oh dear. Can you post your system specs for me?
  12. Bueno para saber! Disfrutas tu con LCPDFR! (Good to know! Enjoy LCPDFR)
  13. Found it. All I did was run a quick search of the movie title in the origional post, and it popped right up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0VrYq2UGjE
  14. I think you need to download or update GFWL (Games For Windows Live). Go here, and go to the bottom of the page. In the middle will be a thing that says Download. Click it, and go from there.
  15. Que esta hacando para arrestar las personas? Estas usando una pistola, o una arma reyerta? Para arrestar con una arma reyerta, necisita a llave en una persona, y presiona la E. (What are you using to arrest people? Are you using a pistol, or melee weapon? To arrest with a melee weapon, you need to lock onto a person, and press E.)
  16. Have you done everything listed under the Tried simple solutions section of this topic?
  17. Well, redbull, you started good...But the second half of the post was...Not so good... The thing with "video evidence" is that it rarely shows the full picture. Unless we were right there, there is no way to know what could have provoked it. As for these protests being 'peacefull,' I am not entirely convinced of that. Regarding your comment about the "police state of America," you've gotta be kidding. See, we have these things called laws, rules, and regulations. In many places, for instance a city nearby me, the protesters have been told that they cannot be in these locations during certain times, which as far as I can see, is well within the rights of the citys. Yet, the protesters don't seem to care, and thus they are trespassing. If trying to enforce a reasonable law makes us a police state, then so be it. But if you want to see a real police state, there are better places to look.
  18. Try this: Go to the FirstResponse.ini in the Scripts folder, and find something that is similar to LoadAllModels=False. Turn false to true, and then try to play.
  19. Are your police and police2 cars ELS enabled? If so, that would be why you are crashing after some amount of time. LCPDFR I don't think knows how to use ELS for backup units, so it almost always results in a crash. The only way to get around this is to not have ELS-enabled cars for police and police2.
  20. Sounds like a corrupted save game to me. Did you save after running LCPDFR, or even worse, save with a modded car in the car save slot thingy?
  21. What graphics card do you have? The number 1 cause of the disappearing buildings/textures is a graphics card that cannot handle the game. For whatever reason, you need a pretty decent graphics card, even by today's standards, to run the game with good graphics.
  22. Question 1: Is your GTA folder set to read-only? To check this, right click on the GTA folder itself, and click properties. At the bottom of this dialog box are two options, Hidden and Read-Only. If it is set to read only, un-check the box. Question 2: Are you using LaunchGTAIV.exe to start the game? If not, then you must use that to start GTA.
  23. At this time, I think that you cannot change the LCPDFR keys. There are no longer any controls in the .ini. As to if they will ever be put back, I can't say, because I don't know.
  24. Well, I don't have a working PC with GTA yet, so I don't remember exactly...In the FirstResponse.ini, there is a section with three-four options, and the first one is something like "Chance Crime Is Commited." Either raise that number, or lower that number. You can also try to decrease the callout timings which should be right under this option.
