Okay, so, the story behind this is, there was a murder on my old street, the RCMP car (the one on the left) never come right into city limit's unless it's bad enough (unless the city doesn't have it's own police department), anyway, for the people who love christmas tree's, has anyone thought of modelling the Police savanna and believe it or not, despite not having a lightbar on it, you can see it for miles, it's loaded with light's, front and back, also, the expedition, with the Whelen Liberty Lightbar, and it's unique placement in the center of the roof, has anybody thought of modeling these? I really don't understand it, pretty sure we are all headed for an economy crash, but yet police forces can afford NEWER, FLASHIER vehicles, sorry but if i'm being stopped, the vehicle is not going to affect how i feel about getting ticketed, this is IF they decide to make them into police vehicle's, in order to maintain these vehicles, the cost of something would have to go up too still balance out budget cost's, ie OUR TAXES, not too mention, police equipment is not cheap you can't exactly tell them "oh, just throw that on the credit card", the lightbar alone is close to $4000.00 for a Whelen Liberty.. My cities department has 676 Police Officer's, that's just HRP not including RCMP too out fit an ENTIRE police force with newer more expensive vehicles, would be ridiculous and extremely pricey i would just tell them to keep there "police discount", also for 676 Police Officer's salaries at $80,000 a year is $54,080,000 a year just in salaries, how does the federal government afford new vehicle's if the government is complaining there is no money to give let alone afford brand new Police Vehicle's, plus i would imagine it would cost more to have a lightbar custom fit for a particular vehicle.. Sorry to go WAY off topic (kinda) but the government pisses me RIGHT OFF.. BTW, how did this 1976 impala go from this VVV toooo this ^^^^

I found an RCMP V-com siren been using that for about a month now, there is 3 Option's to choose from, or you could try an O.P.P siren, hell, even the rumbler siren is pretty boss.

Even adding car pack's HIGH POLY car's isn't the greatest idea, i really don't understand why people make car pack's and release them, more then likely, 90% of computer's can't handle it, your best bet is to backup files and override them, or it start's to get difficult, plus, once they crash your game, modder's that are just starting out want to go big then don't understand why there game doesn't work, trust me when i say, start small, add 1 or 2 car's, not a car pack UNLESS your confident your computer can handle it, cause guaranteed, the 1st time you install IV/EFLC, it most certainly will not be your last, i've read that some modder's can uninstall and reinstall up to 10 times a week, that's more then once a day and it can get frustrating sitting there for half an hour to an hour just uninstalling and reinstalling, i've been modding for a little over 2 years, and the most i've had to reinstall in 1 week, is 5 times.. seem's like i've spent more time reinstalling then playing.. sorry for the long story book, just want to make you aware of the risk's of modding.. @wmai20, i think modification's is what they are trying to stop. Agreed with Harper and Tom H, the new cruiser's look horrible.. the console version games are for lazier people, but how i see it, is PC Modding can help you in a alot of way's if Video Game design interest's you.. SIDE NOTE: Didn't R* release a few mod's themselves? On Topic: better AI Police, better AI Ambulance and AI Civillian driver's most definetely.

How would it conflict with LCPDFR? you mean no added support? if you mean taking something from PPM, i don't really think that would be the case, i mean, if it's seperate, there could be more you could do to get it to work, plus, after all, it is a seperate script that would be made from scratch, not taking it from the PPM script itself. Side Note: i went ahead and tried it anyway, i'm doing a reinstall now lol

I don't know how long i've tried to find a way to be able to use it, i don't like to use PPM cause it's not realistic, and it seems like they don't fix bugs, they just add more features and release it, but as Birthofahero said, the headlight strobe effect is the only good thing that comes from PPM, would be nice if LCPDFR incorporated it, or someone made a seperate script for it.

Would it be possible to install PPM without actually using it and just turning it off, but still get the headlight strobe effect while using LCPDFR? I don't want to install it, then get an ass ton of error's.

There is but it takes alot of your CPU, i guess you could say it's a stress test and if i'm not mistaken, it can crash your CPU, someone directed me to the site where i can download it, i might even have the programs mixed up with another, dammit, now it's gonna bug me, i can't even remember what it's called.. ugh

Just click the edit button on the main page of the vehicle you want to edit, make sure you click on the texture and not modelfrag, each model has both, then look for police sign 1,2,3 or 4 and import the texture you want, then save and close rebuild and save and your done

Black thing? ellaborate? are you talking about the rambar? the best Dashcam view which is more realistic is on the hood of the car, just disable First Person via ini. or just remove it from the main directory, see how you like it.

I mean, if you look at the Paint.NET forum look in the community index or whichever forum, the layout, the forum text, even the color scheme are the same. EDIT: so you don't get to choose your own layout when designing a website?
