Early this afternoon, a major fire broke out on Alderney's highway. At least 25 cars were involved, leaving many more than that wounded or injured. Police were unable to prevent civilians from driving in to the inferno of cars, creating an almost never ending chain reaction. Fire fighters were unable to stop the blaze in time to prevent oncoming vehicles from catching on fire as well.
