  1. ..........Really? Of course it isn't! Any police website that has forums or viewable usergroups are fake and made for RP purposes! Compare this to an actual PD website and there should be no question that this is fake! */facedesk*
  2. Well they ARE police officers, I am just surprised it wasn't them all. GTA in real life in a nutshell. They did it right.
  3. Damn! That is some serious GTA shit right there! Like something straight out of a GTA game! I am just glad no innocent people got hurt or police. But this is definitely a story for the books, that's for sure! Man though it is rare, guess in the end GTA isn't all that far fetched from reality, though it takes things to extreme levels, as we can see, every so often in real life something that would happen in GTA does happen like this. Dang man....just glad there were no innocent casualties! Thank god!
  4. Yikes...with a new larger world much more fun and modifiable....GTA V....apparently with that comes PC modding's darkest. I am surprised this didn't happen sooner as well...i'll have to double check my downloads from here on out...yikes...a new dark era in GTA modding has opened....this wont be good. Here's hoping to the best! And with a game like GTA V where anything is possible....I guess it is true then....now everything changes but unfortunately not all for the better...god save us all!
  5. It's a good thing the only mods I ever use is simple native, LCPDFR, ELS, then standard car mods. I am not interested in all other misc mods except for vital ones like the police helper one. In GTA V the only mods i'll be using are SAPDFR until LCPDFR is released and again the Simple Native Trainer. I am not big on mods. It is a good thing I am not, and hopefully I never have to worry about such a thing....inb4 car mods contain these files as well. I hope not...
  6. Unfortunately when it comes to purchasing a gaming laptop, you wont be able to get anything very good for 1,000 max. Most decent ones come in around 1,400 range and actually good ones at 2,000. But for 1,000 an MSI laptop or ASUS RoG might do. Just go onto amazon and search in "gaming laptop", limit your price to 1,000 higher and choose other settings you feel would be good. Personally for me I wouldn't settle for anything less than a 17.3" gaming laptop with 32 GB of RAM running the Nvidia Geforce GTX 980M, which is usually good for gaming PCs, but unfortunately again that is in the 2,000+ range. Just search up "gaming laptop" on Amazon and you should be fine. A very noteworthy site however I feel I should let you know of is a handy site, http://www.game-debate.com/ that lets you search for pretty much all games on PC and see if pretty much any PC can run it. It is way more useful than that can you run it one, it is more detailed. Hope this helps!
  7. I know I was just asking what frame rate was decent before becoming noticeable and it seems the answer was 30 bare minimum, which is what TVs were, 45 really being decent, 60 and higher being preferred. Either way I already chose my gaming laptop. It seems that website might only check at max 35 FPS....because it only shows that for multiple computers i've tested so I am guessing I read that wrong. Thanks anyways for your help but this topic was already all done. Just can't lock it or remove it. But uh...thanks anyways for additional inputs but my gaming laptop was already chosen, so it really wasn't necessary. Eh oh well, thanks anyways!
  8. This is the second post I saw regarding Ineseri being illuminati. So it must be true then! Ineseri = illuminati! THE TRUTH HAS BEEN REVEALED!!!
  9. A nifty website I found. Simply search up "grand theft auto v" in the search bar, click the game's name or picture, then scroll down to the section that says "Can I run Grand Theft Auto V". It'll let you choose from the specifics of your PC and then tell you if you can run it or not. Hope this helps! http://www.game-debate.com/
  10. Hmm I see...well mouse sensitivity hasn't been a problem before and I can play GTA IV moderately so it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the information man! It was much appreciated! And thanks to all as well who helped! Thanks for your inputs, they were also all much appreciated! In case you are curious, here is the gaming pc I went with in the end, larger than the other but it still says gets 35 FPS apparently. Check the report for yourself. Thanks again! http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=1308&game=Grand+Theft+Auto+V&p_make=Intel&p_deriv=Core+i7-4710HQ+4-Core+2.5GHz&gc_make=Nvidia&gc_deriv=GeForce+GTX+970M+3GB&ram=16&screenRes_width_FPS=1920&screenRes_height_FPS=1080&checkSubmit=#systemRequirements
  11. Well either way, according to this website I use it says I should be able to play the game on high easily with my selected computer so let's hope for it. So then just confirming: 30 is the one used by most things and 35 isn't that bad, correct? 35 FPS?
  12. Ah it has been settled. I've decided to go with this gaming laptop instead of the one mentioned above. It is 970 which is able to run GTA V at high settings. 980 is 2K+ which is too much. This is the laptop i've decided to go with in the end: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NVV2B98/ref=psdc_565108_t1_B00UNNJVQI Thanks to everyone who helped me with information regarding the different options that makes a gaming laptop great! It was much appreciated! Thanks again!
  13. Tis fine my friend. Such mistakes happen. But I think the guy above you had mistaken as well. I don't believe LSHP had different patches over the games. Eh oh well, everyone makes mistakes, no worries my friend. No worries! :)
  14. So then it should be good enough then hopefully, thanks for answering! And wait...what is the difference of frame skip vs latency? Is latency another word for lagging? And frame skipping when you skip frames...I never really thought that bad unless it skips major frames which would 35 do either or?
  15. The old gen LSHP officers had different LSHP patches over the next gen LSHP officers? Huh...I did not know that...guess you learn something new everyday then, huh? Interesting.
  16. Wait you prefer the LSHP patches to the new ones? But the LSHP patches are the new one...lolwut? Originally it was SAHP. :P
  17. So then you would say 35 would be good enough then to run the game on? Since 30 runs the game smoothly on the consoles...but not sure if there is a difference between the PC and consoles though frame rate wise....but in general would you say then that 35 would be good enough to run the game smoothly? As in, not lagging or anything?
  18. Uh.....I am still an FPS noob so what is the regional frame rate?
  19. Hmm...how about the Xbox 360? How much FPS does that run GTA V at if you know? And my TV runs the game smoothly however but not sure if that lies in the TV itself or rather the console...but aren't consoles also 30?
  20. Hmm but so TV is like 30 right? So then 35 should be fine right? Because my Xbox 360 runs GTA V quite smoothly on TV.
  21. Ah I see...I see...so then 35 FPS should be more then plenty to run the game smoothly then, right?
  22. Alright and what would you say the bare minimum for playing games should be? 30 FPS seems to be the answer that came up the most, would 30 FPS still be able to play a game smoothly in your opinion? (The PC I am looking at shows it can go at max 35 FPS according to the site I use so would that be efficient?)
  23. Searching a bit online it seems 30 FPS is the bare minimum for games to play smoothly not lagging as much and below 30 is when it lags and stuff. 60 FPS being the best possible, and anywhere between 30 to 60 being alright. I just want to ask what you guys think, I am sure you are more knowledgeable on the category - what is good FPS for running games smoothly? Is it indeed 30? What range is a good FPS range? Is it indeed 30 - 60? I need this to help me determine things for a gaming PC and I am using a website that shows how well it'd play a game FPS wise and I was just curious since I don't know much about FPS. Any information would help! Thanks!
  24. Ah yeah, I excluded notebooks from the search due to the notebooks not being able to achieve the same power as the laptops for what I was going for based on GTA V recommended settings. But so do you've anything else to suggest then or let me know about before choosing a gaming laptop? And as for my original, what do you think of that one? Do you think it'd run GTA V well enough? What is your input?
  25. Thanks for your input, i'll stick with the 900's then. And not true, the reason we brought up the 960 and all those others is actually because that is the graphics card used on the laptop I had shown above, actually half of all of the laptops had the GTX ones of 960 and the other ones, and a few only had standard geforces and one only a radeon. The highest majority is GTX. I don't know what you mean when you speak of these "M" cards. Haven't seen no M's. And nah, like I said, desktop isn't an option, I want to game on the go, not be stuck only being able to game at home where the desktop would be but thanks anyways for the other information, much appreciated! You guys all helped clear some stuff....i'll keep an eye then for the 700 and 900 series but not 800 which apparently isn't used very often. Thanks again to all who responded! But if you've still more suggestions, this is to everyone: Feel free to include your input! Thanks again!
