  1. It should. I dont see why not. It is just I use EFLC more. And no problem man! Glad I could help!:)
  2. In all honesty if it were indeed a whole gang war versus any law enforcement organization, even if it was an ambush GTA style or an entire attack GTA style, all it takes is the backup call from one officer and all nearby units from even other cities respond, ESPECIALLY if it was a major GTA Style shootout and the Chief himself requested all help he could get, because first all units from the current city would respond, and if something really big then units from other nearby cities as well, then deputies, and state police, National Guard, the Feds, and if it was something really really big they could potentially send in the Army as well. Not to mention by the point it escalated that far most likely units from other cities in the state that were relatively close would lend a hand if it was like a State of Emergency type situation. So law enforcement would be fine in the end, sure they'd most likely lose a lot of officers, but also, they will have won the war in the end because in the end all members of that gang would of been taken out by the excessive police units responding to the scene. Like I said, all it takes is one backup call, then the rest is in the bag, despite the weapons and how much armor the gang has, the police would have the numbers in the end with all the additional units responding to the scene. It would be a mission success for they will have taken out an entire gang, possibly several if they were aided by other gangs, but it still would have also been a great loss in the end due to everyone that would've been killed. But yeah so easily law enforcement would win ANY war against gangs, it would be impossible for they not to with how many law enforcement organizations there are around nowadays.
  3. I can confirm that the "additionalcopcarmodel" trick only works with certain vehicles. Why not all? I thought it was supposed to work with any vehicle to make all vehicles added to that list have the same abilities as police vehicles. Does anyone know what we can do about this? Anyone at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  4. Just watch this video I uploaded about it, it explains the two steps you need to know easily: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEf0oabEdho Hope this helped all who needed it! And yup, it is just that simple to turn ANY GTA IV Vehicle into a POLICE vehicle, no matter what kind! I tested it and it works, that is why I made the video about it. Enjoy and have fun making some vehicles into police vehicles in-game! Peace!
  5. Wow it worked! Thanks all to helped me out in this topic! You guys are all awesome! The help was appreciated! Thanks again to all who helped! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Thanks again! EDIT: However vehicles do not pull over for you when you do it this way, other than that and what another user pointed out happens in MP, with no sirens when this is done, this all works and is great because it lets you make other vehicles become police vehicles from civilian vehicles. I hope this can help others out there with a similar question. Thanks again to all those who helped me on this situation. I hope they all and everyone who read this have a wonderful day! Thanks again to those who helped!
  6. Thanks man! I'll try it! And i'll tell ya if it worked or not! Thanks for all the help man! It was much appreciated!
  7. But I thought only actual police vehicles could be added there. If I added the policew there, or any vehicle there for that matter, would it automatically make it so it could be used in the same way the other police vehicles are? Like any vehicle at all, and if I add ELS v8 lighting? Cause it would be awesome if it worked like that, I could make my own extra personal slots with vehicles that are rarely seen or not used even and use them as police vehicles. So if I add it to the ini it would work then? Like be able to do all the stuff a normal police vehicle does? And would that be the only thing I would have to do? Just edit the ini? Or would I have to do more beyond that to be able to make a civilian vehicle work like a police vehicle? Sorry for all the questions and stuff but I just wanna know, I really wanna transform some civilian vehicles over to police vehicles if possible using these tactics. So is editing the ini really the only thing I would have to do to make it work?
  8. All right, thank you for that spreilly, but what I want to know, i'll redirect this to all who sees this thread now, is, now that I know it'll have the lights and sirens, which thanks again for that spreilly, but anywho, what I want to know now is how to actually make a civilian vehicle become a police vehicle, like be able to do all the stuff police vehicles can, including pulling over people, accessing the police radio, etc. is there any actual way to do this, and if so, how do I go about doing this? Anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to any who can help!
  9. Oh that is very unfortunate. Is there anyway to make that possible to do on a normal civilian vehicle then? And if so, how do I go about doing that then? Cause what I really want to do is make it so the policew is indeed a police vehicle that has all police features like being able to pull people over and use the police computer and what not, ya know, make it an actual police vehicle. And like I said, if possible, how would I go about doing that? Any response on this would greatly be appreciated, tis' what I really want to do. So any word on how to do that then? Oh and also, it can use the siren now, correct?
  10. I know this, and I did this, does this mean that now PoliceW can use ELS lighting as well, including ELS lights and a police siren? Or do I have to do something more to make that work? Like it also have the police siren and stuff as well? And also, does this work with any cars? That is what I was asking, in case I needed to clarify it more.
  11. Okay and once there, what do I do? Is all I need to do is make a slot for PoliceW? And if so, will it then automatically have the same lights and sirens and possibility of ELS patterns like all other emergency vehicles? And also, does this work with any vehicle?
  12. Slot control file huh? Uh...where do I find that exactly? Can you tell me? I really want to use it as an additional police vehicle slot with the whole lights and sirens stuff, the more ELS police vehicles you have the better! And I dont play MP, so that is fine. But so yeah, how do I go about adding it to the whole "slot control file" thing exactly? And once I do it, it'll have the lights and sirens and can have ELS lighting with it as well correct?
  13. Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask this question, but eh, ima go with it anyways. So anyways, is it possible, as the topic title says, to actually make the "PoliceW", an EFLC-only vehicle an actual police vehicle? Like with lights and sirens and stuff? And I know I can just replace the model and texture with an actual police car's model and texture, but then it wont be ELS-enabled or have lights or sirens because how the game reads it is as if it was a civilian vehicle, like the APC. So, if it is possible, can someone please tell me how to do it? I have been curious as to has this been possible by like editing the files somewhere in the game's files of the vehicle or something. What do I do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! EDIT: Reason being, because I want to use that slot like a police slot, if possible. Again, any help would be appreciated. Thanks again to any who respond who can help me on this troubling matter at hand!
  14. Well so long as in the end there can be an LSPDFR for GTA V PC and you can mod the basic files like add a Simple Native Trainer in there, or whatever the equivalent of that for GTA V will be called, along with being able to change models and vehicles, along with the other basic files, that is all I care about. To all you coders out there: Keep up the good work, I hope you guys can continue cracking the code of GTA V and in the end make it so it can be modded just like GTA IV was or close enough so that way we can all enjoy GTA V on the PC the way it should of been: Chasing after speeders on the highway and tazing deer. Yes!
  15. Nice! As I was reading that I thought of the same exact idea! I personally think that would be an epic idea! For 1.0d, should it be created, this should definitely be implemented! It'd be awesome being able to use different models on patrol with you, and as for the voice thing, eh that doesn't bother me as much. Though I think this model idea should DEFINITELY be implemented upon the next update to LCPDFR! Make it happen LCPDFR Team! We need this!
  16. This car is great! Definitely one of the better ones i've used! And it was just perfect for the unmarked appeal I was going for! Thanks for the car man! i approve! It was good!:)
  17. I'm going to have to agree with all the non-supporters of this as seen above, though it would be amazing if it could be done, it just cannot be. To many factors that would cost too much money to do, that the team just does not have. Not to mention if they put all their time and effort into making a standalone LCPDFR (which it could no longer be named that) then the actual LCPDFR wouldn't be able to be updated or not much in YEARS and YEARS. Like I said, I don't think it is actually possible for such a thing to come into existence, though it would be grand if it could, if not, at the very least, wont be possible for MANY and I mean MANY years, and by then there could be a GTA V LSPDFR which would be even grander than the GTA IV LCPDFR. I think we should just stick with LCPDFR for now. And if GTA V PC ever comes out and it is as moddable as GTA IV, then we could eventually have an LSPDFR which would be 1 billion times better. Sorry, but in my opinion, this is a hardcore no-go.
  18. Hey man! It's great you were finally able to post it on here on LCPDFR! Thanks so much again for making me this skin pack, for making my LCPDFR dream come true! It was truly appreciated! Thanks again man, still thanks for the skin pack!:D
  19. Just did! Wow! Thanks again for doing this for me man! They truly did turn out awesome! Thanks so much man, thank you!
  20. I verify this, I would indeed enjoy the big 110 where it is. Thanks again for the help man, thanks for making the skin pack, truly, thank you for helping making my LCPDFR dream come true! It truly is much appreciated! Thanks man, thanks!
  21. Wow! Those skins look epic and just like how it is on the actual police cars! Awesome job, man! Awesome job! And to answer your questions: Dodge Charger) The small 110 did look a little bit weird on that model didn't it? I'd prefer the 110 on the back of the vehicle if you would please make that change. Chevy Tahoe) The size looks fine to me. Nope! Looks like you nailed these vehicles right on the head! Wow! They look awesome! I am happy with how they are currently. Thanks for helping out man, it really is appreciated, thanks for helping my dream of one day driving my home town vehicles in LCPDFR a possibility man! That's awesome! Thanks man, really, thanks, and they truly do look awesome! Dang. Thanks man, thanks! Awesome looking skins!
  22. Welcome to 'Murica where not all rules or laws made by the government, whether state or federal, are always followed, even by police forces and other emergency services themselves.
  23. I agree. It doesn't look as flashy/awesome as red and blue lights lol. I hope the next Governor removes that law, it truly isn't necessary, and the NYPD which I think is the only if not one of the only police department's around that actually follow that NYS rule could use some red and blue lights on their cars as well, red and white just doesn't look as flashy or awesome as blue and red, but that is just my opinion. Wow! Like I said in the private message, that looks all right! You should definitely continue trying to make the vehicle skins and you should definitely continue working on this project, because like I said, those skins are looking pretty awesome as of currently to me! You sure you cannot continue working on the skins anymore? They are really looking really good to me!
