You only need to rename the file once. If you rename it in OpenIV, it will apply to the files in the Windows folder as well, so there's no need to do it again for both locations. I hope that clarifies things!

You don't need to delete PoliceSmartRadio, Simple Callouts, or TrafficPolicier; these mods aren't causing your issue. The error message indicates a conflict with your mods. I recommend renaming your mods folder to _mods to prevent all mods from loading. If the game no longer crashes after doing this, it means something in your mods folder is corrupt or causing the conflict. You can then reintroduce your mods one by one to identify which one is the culprit.

Thanks for the feedback! In the next version, the script will indeed use plate06, plate07, and similar textures, so you'll need to ensure those plates are properly referenced in the carcols.ymt file. However, I can definitely implement a feature allowing you to customize plate names and formats. This would let you rename plate06 to whatever you prefer while keeping the same structure. It would provide more flexibility for add-on plates, making it easier to integrate your own custom designs. Stay tuned for this feature in an upcoming update! -
Only got this update today 3rd October 2024 - however is not a whole game update so unsure what's updated. But since this update i've had a script hook v error then crashes game when i press ok. ScriptHookV.log I looked more into the warning in the log which is to do with custom textures or heavy graphical enhancements disabling my mods folder let the game load without error now it's time to find the high pixel textures.

That's fine I haven't tested my game as of yet - but I am going to now, I only posted that because of what toby5333 said. Mine says this when on loading screen, then crashes whole game

Hi, Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad to hear you find the modification promising! To clarify your question, the script does allow for license plate customization based on both vehicle class and plate format, and the two methods can work independently or exclusively. You can configure the plates for specific vehicle classes, like emergency or military, or by individual plate textures. Regarding your query on add-on plates: In the next version that will be out soon, the custom plate configurations can be applied to add-on plates as well. The script references the plate textures (like plate06, plate07, etc.) directly, so if you have a set of add-on plates, you can modify the script to recognize those textures and apply the appropriate format. At the moment, the available customizations are defined within the code, but this can easily be made editable through an .ini file for better flexibility. I have finally found a fix after a few months - redownload ScriptHookV and Download the UI one and it will work without errors! I just tested and i can now use ELS and other asi

ELS is the same issue / crash seems like it could be a SHV errror EDIT; 19:38 (06/10/24) Same errors for TrainerV.asi & OpenInterior.asi

Aquaphobic does amazing sound mods for gta v - this seems more of a gta v issue rather then the sounds as their mods are 100% spot on and are not causing this issue.

This seems to be an issue since previous version i've had this with addon sounds but also vanilla sounds im still looking into this issue, are you using a custom sound? If yes link me to it

I would say this is more LSPDFR crash rather than anything else.. I read both logs the first one many things were outdated and not updated but Lennyy said what needs doing, but the 2nd log 2 plugins failed to load properly due to missing required plugin attributes both files where `Newtonsoft.Json.dll` and `Venoxity.Common.dll`. This might suggest that incompatible or corrupt plugins were present, though these issues occurred prior to the crash But further in the log there was a critical error in the `GameFiber::Main() stating "TLS no longer matches initial TLS". This repeated multiple times, indicating that the thread local storage (TLS) became inconsistent, leading to fiber shutdown issues. This TLS mismatch error is the most likely cause of the crash, and it seems to be related to LSPDFR's handling of fibers (threads). This could be due to memory management problems, conflicts between plugins, or issues with how threads are cleaned up during shutdown.
