Personal Preference?
Hey all, so i've been playing LCPDFR more and more with snow_mod enabled and I must say that even with driving the 2012 Chevy Suburban, although a TON better than trying to get anywhere with the CVPI, taking a turn in the suburban in the snow is like trying to parallel park an aircraft carrier in a subcompact spot. What are your personal favorite patrol vehicles with snow mod? Ive only seen tahoe's, suburbans and cvpi's for this mod, anyone ever seen like a jeep 4x4 for this? that would be kinda cool. What are your favs?

Odd Request
I think i was reading the same thread, it seems like people were actively working on the truck itself back in 2010 and 2011, but have not seen any release for that yet. Anyway, i'm not even sure what would need to happen in terms of actually being able to move the snow on the ground, as in creating snow berms and things like that since i have absolutely 0 experience writing script. Was just throwing an idea out there for that, I would pay to have a mod like that created, I think it would add a different angle to life in Liberty City and one that could keep people busy for a while. You could also add like a mini economy for it, like after 5 hours of plowing, or completing certain routes (like main streets or certain neighborhoods) players would recieve cash for the job they did. Again just throwing ideas out there :D Edit: I looked through that thread and it seems like the truck itself is coming along quite nicely, would be interesting to see any script that would accompany it :D

Odd Request
Hey all, I know this is just a general chat for GTA4, but ive been looking around and I cannot seem to find anything even remotely close to this. Ive been using the snow_mod on LCPDFR and it made me wonder, has anyone ever tried to make like a city manager mod? or an LCDOT mod where you can be responsible for like hauling trash or plowing the streets? Just a shot in the dark, not really expecting much out of this. Thanks for any help or advise you guys can offer!

which mods?
I'll second the snow mod.. pretty fun stuff if your bored of just playing in the rain all the time.

IVdashcam V2
I know that this just came out recently, but i've been having some issues with it. First off I downloaded both the zip and the exe version, because originally I tried just the zip, and it wouldn't work. Next i tried the exe, and still nothing. I delved into the root folder and found that the exe created its own scripts file, when there was already one present. So i moved the files from the IVdashcam program into my existing scripts program (that has my lcpdfr, traffic, and bravehearts policing mod) and tried it again, and nothing. I tried hitting the controls to toggle the dashcam (which in the readme it says its "Alt+D" and still nothing, I even went further into the console during the game and put in to show what active scripts I had running, and IVdashcam was not one of them, nor even listed. Am i missing a step here? or is it something I should keep looking for a reason? Thanks guys! Ps. Even though I cannot currently get this to work, i've heard great things, and thank you sniper for making this available again :)

Sad
The CV is prefered over all of the new ones, the charger included. More interior space, less maintenance dependent, etc. The new Taurus will fade out, and they will bring back the CV in a few years.
