Actually, it's he. :) On top of that, are PSUs expensive in USA?

You won't find a card that can run GTA on high that wouldn't require 450 - 500W PSU. It looks that if you want a card that would work for you, you'd also have to upgrade your PSU.

To check the PSU, you would have to open your PC case. If it's 500W+, it'll be fine. I don't think it works like that :/ My best bet is they haven't listed the power requirement, is because they don't know it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FLOPS It's a measure of computer (processor) performance. If you can buy 7870, buy it. Also, what's your PSU? You might need to upgrade it too.

AMD offical site - http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx From purely technical point of view, only those matter: - Memory Bandwidth - Pixel Fill Rate - and Texture Fill Rate - GFLOPS But it's wise to also check reviews of the card you want to buy for FPS in games and performance scores in 3DMark and Unigine Heaven.

Yeah, sorry. I thought Aspires are only laptops and ultrabooks. BTW. Have you tried updating your Catalyst (ATI card) drivers? It should help a bit with the performance, and you'll also get Catalyst Control Center, where you can check your clocks, but as I said, the best way is to use benchmarks and tools like this one - http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php (for example, here is a compasion of 7870 and GTX 660 - http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=677&card2=680 - the higher the GFLOPS, Memory Bandwidth, Pixel Fill Rate and Texture Fill Rate, the better).

Well, AFAIK, you can't upgrade a laptop. You'd need to buy a desktop to put that card in. My bad, I didn't realize that there are also Aspire desktops.

So you want to put that card in Acer Aspire, Knight?

Ped texture discoveries
Yet it still works with Latin and black guys... Well, I guess we can't do anything about it, aside form editing the spec texture (it's a black magic for me).

Seeing as this was brought back from the dead, have anybody figured out why the white cops with short sleeves have different skin colors on hands and arms, even when the color was picked from the hand in Photoshop? Or maybe I'm the only one having that issue? It looks fine in OpenIV model viewier, but in game the collar differs..

Well, I have 6870 which is slower then 7870, and I can run GTA on almost all settings on high (shadows on medium, view distance 40) on 1920 x 1080 on about 40 FPS, so I guess 7870 would do just fine. However, GTA is very poorly optimized, and you will need a really powerfull computer to do max out the settings. But with some tweaking, I guess that you would be able to run it smoothly on higher settings than mine while recording. And Hilith, for me and many other gamers, 30 - 40 FPS on full resolution is minimum to play, and as Knight stated, he would like to record (huge FPS hit) his gameplay on max settings, so that card he posted would be useless anyway. PS Knight, are you planning to upgrade the computer which specs you've put in your signature?

- Memory Clock (Higher the number, better it is?) - Yes, however this doesn't always apply. Generally, a card with higher number is better, but to be sure, check out benchmarks around the web. - Core/Engine Clock (Higher the number, better it is?) - ^ - Not worrying about GBs - Don't buy anything that has less than 1GB GDDR5 The first card isn't a gaming card - it means it's made for computers in offices and it won't run ANY game AFAIK (maybe except for Minesweeper), but the second one is ok. I don't think you could max it out, but it should work on high settings. Also look for HD 7870 (like this one - http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX39701) - it's more powerful and costs about $20 - $30 on the site you've linked to. Also, GTX 600 Ti is much more powerful than GTX 660.

Is it Possible to have more than 4 liveries
A modeler must add them to the model. There is no other way of doing this.

open iv?? or other
I think SparkIV can do this as well.

Oops.. - When Video Games Go Wrong
I'll see if I can dig up something from Skyrim that's not a CTD/freeze... Well, I remember that once I've seen Lydia fighting with a dragur through a wall, but I don't have a picture. But trust me, it was hilarious :) Like she was hitting a wall, and it fought back. Next time I play I'll try to take a photo if any funny situation occurs.

What car do you patrol in?
Wasn't there a same thread like this a while ago?

LCPDFR Multiplayer
Just remember that when you're playing online, all of the other players should have same mods to minimize (it will still crash, but much less).
