londonrials reacted to SuperPyroManiac in New Stop The Ped Update VirusMost addons for LSPDFR are .dll files. These are considered executable, and are seen just as dangerous as an exe file as it can do a lot on your PC. Windows defender goes hard on these files (as it should) because they can be dangerous.
As for StopThePed, thousands of people use it. Here is what I can tell you, it requires an online connection, and it's obfuscated to hell and back so you can't actually see anything in it. Though me personally, I use it along with many many other people.
Never add downloads to your anti-virus exception list. Never disable your anti-virus just to install mods. You can go into windows security and find the most recent flag, and click "restore" this will then restore and allow the file on your PC.
Side note, whenever you go on bejoejojo's website, I suggest using ublock origin. His site is full of actual virus ads and porn.

londonrials reacted to Ekalb in How to Have Peds Perform AnimationsIf you want a ped you have defined as 'FriendA' to perform an animation you need to use the function this way:
FriendA.Tasks.PlayAnimation("mp_facial", "mic_chatter", 3f, AnimationFlags.None);
The argument are the specific animation dictionary (in the above example: "mp_facial"), then the specific animation ("mic_chatter"), a float for speed, then any flag (in the format AnimationFlags.None or AnimationFlags.Loop, for example)
Try Google for a list of dictionaries and animations, e.g. https://alexguirre.github.io/animations-list/

londonrials reacted to Fiskey111 in How to use Ped.Tasks.PlayAnimation ?A. Good luck finding animations- there's like 34,000 of them and they're a pain to sort through, haha.
B. Here's an example:
EMT2.Tasks.PlayAnimation("amb@medic@standing@tendtodead@idle_a", "idle_b", 5, AnimationFlags.None);

londonrials reacted to ChancellorGrunt in "Unable to launch game, please verify your game data." Help?Okay, new problem.
I uninstalled LSPDFR so I could reinstall it and see if that helped. Now when I reinstall it, the executables aren't in the Grand Theft Auto V folder.
EDIT: I found them. They were in Program Files (x86)/LSPD First Response

londonrials got a reaction from awdawdwad in When I go on duty, LSPDFR crashes@awdawdwad | Hello and good morning!
I took a quick peek at your latest RAGEPluginHook file and I noticed that you have some of BejoIjo's plugins in your game.
I'm a senior staff member for his community and we have this problem a lot so let me help you out.
Go to your root Grand Theft Auto V directory and locate the file called RAGENativeUI.dll.
Delete that the file. Completely delete it. If it goes to the recycle bin, empty it.
Download the newest version of RAGENativeUI from the official source on Github using the provided link below:
https://github.com/alexguirre/RAGENativeUI/releases
Please let me know if that works or not!

I've got an idea for a small plugin that somebody can do that is a little inventory you have your belt stuff with it. Like Notes, Gloves and a limited Cuffs like 2 or 3 instead of endless cuffs you got with a little hostler animation when you take anything off.. and yeah!

londonrials reacted to Ricky001 in Would an LSPDFR "speedrun" be feasible?Just taking your idea forward (if that is feasible at all, like you say), LSPDFR may introduce a police ranking system in-game based on the the performance and efficiency as you go around responding to calls and cleaning up scenes (yes, cleaning up the mess should add merit points if you ask me). Maybe responding to calls quickly one after the other would be a bit tiresome, but even if there's a bit of cooldown added in between, the idea sounds kinda fun!
Either way, I've been looking for a ranking system based on how good/ efficient an LEO you are since ages now. Coming across your idea seemed to be a perfect reason for such a system as well.

londonrials got a reaction from K.Dollega in To The Guides & Content Creators - Thank You & Constructive FeedbackThis was actually super helpful. Thanks Dehnzer! I was planning to post a few different tutorials since I only posted one like almost 2 years ago but what I think I'm going to do is have a simple computer things tutorial for stuff like clicking more than one file, how to make backups, where to find the root folder, pinning folders, etc. As Well as one for common requirements and where to install them like OpenIV, RageNativeUI, Scripthook, etc. Then when I do make the actually tutorials I'll briefly shoutout those videos with links in the description.

londonrials reacted to K.Dollega in To The Guides & Content Creators - Thank You & Constructive FeedbackFirst of all, a big thank you to all of the content creators on Youtube making video guides on basically everything!
I started messing around with LSPDFR during the christmas holidays, alot has changed and even more mods, scripts and plugins have been created since I last dabbled with LCPDFR all the way back in GTA IV. It's actually quite astonishing how far it's come since release and without YouTube and the guides/content creators I would have been lost, so thank you!!
However! And purely as suggestive and well-meant construtive feedback!
Some of the video guides are quite long due to some mods/plugins being more complex and that's fine, but some video guides are just to long. And before I get knocked out of my deputy boots for criticizing someone else's work, which is not my intention! The reason some video guides, atleast for me becomes to long for the purpose it's suppose to serve is when during a 20 minute video guide, 1 or 2/5th of the guide itself is stopping mid guide up to 3-6 times to show how to find your GTA V root folder, how to mark- or go to a folder marked as favorite, how to select more then one file at the time and so on.
I know everything is well-meant I really do but to show and explain the most basic computer skills and knowledge more then just in the beginning shouldn't be necessary if you're installing mods in the first place. A guide is suppose to showcase the easiest and most explanatory way of doing something you don't already know how to do. And sometimes I think some really important or useful information gets lost in the overfriendly process?
Quick example before I show myself out:
EXAMPLE, NOT A QUESTION!
When installing a new ELS vehicle, I have yet to this day after watching atleast 50 hours of video guide content on YouTube since christmas been explained or informed what to do[or]if there is anything to do, or be aware of if you do anything else other then drag & drop the vehicle files and VCF files? If you're installing a new car that's named fbi or fbi2 but you've already installed a car that uses fbi or fbi2, is changing the name of the VCF file and .ytf, .ytd and _hi.ytf, +hi.ytd to one of the other police slots enough? Do you need to change anything inside the files themself or the vehicle.meta?
Thanks again for all the guides and like it said, I don't mean to criticize or bash anyone! Just a suggestion & feedback and if my wierd head is the only one who thinks this then I'm sorry!
