So basically, they just have the old version of the GTA5.exe file that really shouldn't be redistributed in the first place.

No problem! 🙂 Replace vehicles should work. Just use the RPH Console menu to spawn them in. EUP probably wont work and neither will ELS.

That is correct. You should still be able to spawn the vehicles in via the RPH Console or if they are replace, via the PD Station. Those two files you mentioned should be the only out-of-date ones. Mods folder should be fine. 🙂

I believe that should be fine. You can leave it in to see if it will crash your game. I had people using the 2060.1 update and they didnt have to rename their mods folder.

No. Just remove dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll. That is all. 🙂

Make sure you removed dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll

All you have to do is remove dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll. You wont be able to use ELS or any trainers, but at least you can play. 🙂

To verify your files via Retail: Open the Rockstar Games Launcher > Click GTA V > Click Settings > Verify

You should be able to just repair the game and then it will be the newest version.

It should. You need to remove ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll to be able to run successfully for the latest update.
