Hey guys, I'm having a slight issue. I'm replacing the FBI car with a markd Dodge Charger. The only problem is, I'm using a texture that has transparency and where the transparency is supposed to make the car white, it is black instaed because of the original color of the FBI car. Is there a way to change the base color to white? Without using SNT please?

I think the only thing that really irritates me about having non els cars is that I can't just leave my lights running without a siren on. The door bug doesn't bother me much. Right now i've found a great CVPI that is non-els and i just played the game for about 1.5 hours with no crashes. Going to try ELS V5 and see if that smooths anything for me.

I've found in 0.95 beta that the AI has gotten really good at using ELS. I've found a few Non-ELS models that are pretty nice looking. I'm going to give V5 a shot and see how it goes, and if its still a hassle I guess I'm switching back to non ELS modded cars.

After several reinstalls of the software, more and more I'm thinking about doing away with ELS altogether. It seems that once I've got ELS cars added in, and ELS running that my game is extremely unstable and prone to crashes whenever an ELS vehicle is spawned. I played the game for hours with stock cars and no crashes. Is it just my version of ELS? I'm running V6. I really hate to lose the epicness of ELS enhanced vehicles, but I also like playing the mod without crashes. Anyway. What do you guys do or have you found any way to make the game more stable with ELS added in?

Yeah, I've been playing BF since 1942. I've tested quite of few of EA's games. Most recently before BF3, I've been testing SWTOR for the past 4 months. Pretty damn cool MMO.

Yeah this is the ALPHA test, not the Beta. Pre-ordering MoH and BF3 gets you Beta access, which doesn't start for a while yet. I can't wait to try this puppy out tonight.

I just got my invitation to test BF3's Alpha build. Gonna download it tonight. Anyone else get in on that?

Ahh thanks Sniper, I'll give that a shot. I tried using Xliveless this morning, and got script errors with 0.95. I dunno if it was a fluke or not.

Damn, I guess I'll stick with dsound and forego the 100% save. Thanks for the quick responses Break.

If thats the only downside, I'm ok with it. I've already completed the game on XBox. I only bought the PC version to play LCPDFR. If I do this, should I replace dsound with Xliveless?

Lol ok the video worked for me now. I had one where the cops shot the guy I was chasing and then proceeded to slaughter every witness in the area lol.

Hey guys, I tried to put a 100% completion save in my save folder, but when I load it says there's an error. So I read that I need to install Xliveless ASI loader in order to use the save. G17 does not recommend installing Xliveless as a part of their installer package, so I thought maybe the reason was it causes more probs than it solves? Anyway, I'd like to have the story 100% complete and everything while playing LCPDFR. Can anyone give me some info on Xliveless or some possible work-arounds to get the save to work without Xliveless? Thanks in advance.

I know both the trooper and the guy. The trooper is Stephen Murray from Lincoln, Maine. About 20 miles South of me. The motorist is a guy from my home town, Millinocket, ME. This video includes an intro from the trooper and he identifies himself as a Maine Trooper. The motorist also asks if he has to appear in Lincoln District Court.

@Unr3al Maybe you could let me beta test your Sheriff's uniform, and I could leak it to the public, then you could be forced to do an early release and people could complain about how the shoulder patches don't look right and that you shouldn't have rushed it out. @bw1231996 Why so hostile? People seem to have such attitudes lately. I like to check things that I type with things that I would say if I were face to face with a person. Would you have said that to unr3al if you were talking to him standing 5 feet away? It's kind of counter-productive to ask for access to someone's creative intellectual property and then call him an ass. Doncha think? :dry:

Here's a question. With the way 0.95 has random events and emergency vehicles responding to ACTUAL incidents, is there a way to completely deactivate the emergency dispatches in Traffic Flow? It seems that these dispatches contribute to game slow down and eventual crashes. I suppose you could just set the variable to a million or something. Also, please please please, expand the vehicle pool to included all vehicles in the game, variety is the spice of life you know =P

Did you change the textures in TLAD, TBOGT and EFLC? You also have to change the textures in the main EFLC files. TLAD and TBOGT only contain files exclusive to those two DLC's so if its something in the core game that needs to be changed it will be found in the EFLC section of the SparkIV file listing and not under TLAD or TBOGT. Just a thought.

lol I didn't trace your IP Unr3al. You said that guy that was pulled over in that video who didn't like his ticket was in the state you live in now. I know him, he lives in Millinocket, ME and that was a Maine State Trooper. I remember when it happened, I was 13 lol.

Yes, I realize Alpha 3 has been out for a while. The point is, BEFORE today, there was the main testing forums, and then Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 were archived for future reference, its common to do that during testing, so you can go back and see threads from previous builds, but still keep them separate from the current build you are testing. So the appearance of an archived Alpha 3 leads me to believe that a new build is being implemented, or has been, unbeknownst to us. Anyway, we'll find out soon lol.

I dunno if you guys noticed or not. If you look in the 0.95 Testing forum section Alpha 3 has been added to the testing forum archive, which means they've likely opened up a new phase or are preparing to. Before today it just had Alpha 1 and Alpha 2.
