  1. Yes, I too do not use Albo's backup disabler. Safer Chases is the only new mod I have added to my set up. The backup isn't really stuck, but the cars never turn on. The cars and the officers just sit there where the car spawned and do not start or move. The headlights, emergency lights, and engine are off. They do not clear when a pursuit or call ends either. They stay there. When the next pursuit happens, all the dead cars spring to life and respond. No idea what is causing it, but never encountered the error before installing Safer Chases. Safer Chases not being a part of my mod suite isn't an option anymore. Not after I have tasted the fruits of the author's labor. The mod doesn't just enhance game play, it puts polish on LSPDFR as a whole. Uninstalling isn't an option! I have updated ScriptHookVDotNet to version 2.5.1 and had the issues afterward still. I have not encountered this error again in subsequent plays. It seems to happen unexpectedly for some reason under certain circumstances.
  2. Running into a bug where back up units spawn in but their AI never activates and they just sit in the squad car with headlights and emergency lights off. They don't react to anything. If you unload all mods and load mods back up, the units remain on the map and every time you get into a chase the amount of deactivated back up units from before show up as back up EVERY time and if you called enough times like I did they swarm like crazy. You have to exit the game to reset it. Not sure if I can recreate this or not. I'll let you know.
    I considered giving this mod a 4-star rating due to the fact that it released without Ragehook support, but that would be jerky. Beside that fact, the mod was 100% worth downloading and installing all the other things needed to run it. I gave it 5 stars because it is in fact an essential mod and should become a featured mod in my opinion I will never play LSPDFR without this mod. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. My biggest pet peeve about LSPDFR has been eradicated.
  3. This mod is going to be way too popular not to port to Ragehook. I bet Albo or someone would be willing to throw some of their experience behind it to help you out.

  5. While the installer is still open? I'm trying to launch it after the install has completed and it is not working. I even tried installing Ragehook from the installer from the Ragehook site. This isn't my first time installing LSPDFR. Ragehook has always worked fine, but I can't get it to stay open. It loads, and then closes without a message.
  6. I'm having an issue during install where you accept the RagePluginHook license. I click the button to show license and it never pops up, but the green check mark appears for the step. Then with the settings stage if I click on show settings, it shows me nothing and just gives a green check mark. When I go to load LSPDFR using the RagePluginHook.exe it starts Rage for a moment, I get no title screen and then Rage just crashes without a message. I think it is checking to see if I have accepted the license and it is not finding what it is looking for. Any help would be much appreciated.

  12. Yes. I am unable to recreate the success I had in my first game where I did NOT load a save. I am now experiencing all the crashes again. I'm going to try and replay the introduction mission instead of loading a save to see if that recreates the proper working LCPDFR. Nope. Unable to make it work now. Darn. I thought I was on to something.
  13. If you are using TLAD to run LCPDFR don't! I was using it and was getting all of the crashing and errors everyone was talking about. I then loaded TBoGT and ran LCPDFR on that with a fresh save post LCPDFR install and I have not suffered a single problem since. I don't know if it is TLAD or the save from a previous install of EFLC. I would recommend to anyone having issues to not use any former saves from previous GTAIV or EFLC installs and instead do the intro mission and make a fresh save. Finally if you are using TLAD and still having issues, switch to TBoGT. Hope this helps anyone having issues. I gotta back to the game!
  14. I think I'm going to put the theory of it being a low end machine issue to rest. I'm running a vanilla install of LCDPFR on a fresh install of EFLC. It crashes on various actions in 5-10 minutes every time. My system specs. Win 7 64bit i7 3930K Oc'd to 4.2 Ghz 660ti 3gb X 2 SLI 16gb of Corsair Vengeance Ram Intel 520 Series 240gb SSD This system should chew up and spit out almost anything thrown at it.
  15. So what is considered the best traffic fix these days? My new system can handle pretty much anything. Yeah I know, but I really like the look of ELS and the features and those low poly pro-ELS cars look pretty nice.

  17. I don't get the point of the low poly cars made from the stock Rockstar vehicles. You still need a script like traffic flow to avoid the taxi bug. Am I missing something? Is there a way to tweak the amount of memory that GTA IV uses to avoid the taxi bug completely? I mean I have 16gb there shouldn't be a problem should there.
  18. Well so far it shreds anything I've thrown at it, except Planetside 2 beta. That game is far from optimized, but at one time before they screwed it up, I was getting 90-120fps with all settings on high. Even still. If you have a couple extra hundred to spend, go with a couple of 670's. When you go 200 bucks less with the 660ti option you are limiting your video ram bandwidth to 192bits. I regret saving the 200 bucks, and I'll likely upgrade within a year.

  20. My sky flickers different colors sometimes while I cam around. Only does it when looking in certain directions. Any way to stop this? I love ENB and this is the only reason I don't use it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  23. I believe you are correct VooDoobie. That is Penguin's Javelin. It appears someone modified the map of the ELS lights to create that unique pattern we see in the video that I posted. I definitely do not have the savvy to recreate that pattern, or any pattern for that matter. Looks like an unreleased modified Javelin. I would love to have it.
