Hmmm, like others have said before, SNT has an option where you can enter as a passenger. My thoughts are the same as the others; the AI will to bat-shit bonkers and drive everywhere but where you need to go. Also, I wonder how it would follow in a pursuit, because it would be cool if you're in the passenger seat and shooting out the window if you're being shot at and not having to worry about driving and shooting at the same time.

Most likely not. Really the only people who use the multiplayer for GTA are clans. The majority of LCPDFRs users play singleplayer, so GFWL shutting down won't affect them. The LCPDFR team will probably keep updating and releasing newer versions either until GTA V comes out for PC, which who knows when that will be, or until the devs get bored or tired of this.

Wow, I haven't had to ask for help in a while! Anyways, on to the issue at hand. I just recently installed LCPDFR 1.0c on my game, I was previously running 1.0b, and I haven't had any major issues with either. However, I just started to actually play 1.0c for the first time, and I noticed that the text in the upper right was weird. It is in all caps. For example, I got a disturbance call and it looked like this; [POLICE_SCANNER] DISTURBANCE_CALL and when I reply it looks like this; [POLICE_SCANNER_PLAYER] DISTURBANCE_CALL or something to that effect. I used the automatic installer for 1.0c so I was wondering if this is some kind of bug, or an installation foul up on my part. Attached below are the 3 files needed to review. Thanks in advance! It makes it especially hard when I'm interacting with a ped either on foot, or when I am doing a traffic stop, as I can't see the options and have to guess. Like I said, I used the auto installer, so I don't know if it was an issue on my part via installation. Or if it is just a random bug that reinstalling LCPDFR would fix. EDIT2: I did a fresh install of LCPDFR with the manual install, and it worked just fine. Still not sure what went wrong, but I fixed it!

It's funny, all of these people who complain about cops, who are you gonna call when you get robbed, or jumped, or attacked? The Ghostbusters? Then you'll say, "I'd go after them myself!" Then you would be the one who got arrested and you would blame the cop for NOT doing his job... This was my response to the comments on the video. ^^ I agree with Slimory, rather than drop the kid down the stairs, he tried to take him down, but not hurt him. If they wouldn't have been skating on (I'm assuming private since there was a cop) property, they wouldn't have had an ordeal in the first place. I've said it a million times, the cops don't just show up and do things because they feel like it, most of the time. They had a reason to be where they were and they have a job to do, and interfering with their job could get them or you, hurt or even killed.

But I thought violent video games like GTA and Call of Duty was the only thing that made people want to kill...the media is confusing me now. It's sad to see that people, hell even kids now, think that they need to prove themselves to the internet.

I think so yes. I like the amount of lights on it. It doesn't look like the light fair puked on it (which I like) and it doesn't look like a stingy light troll put 2 lights on it (which I also like). It has a good balace, so yes, I do say release it! lol

I picked it up last night from GameStop for my 360 and I really enjoy it. The hacking possibilities are really cool. The gunplay is pretty good as well, my only complaint is the driving isn't the greatest in the game. It seems a bit block-y and unrealistic. Over all it seems really cool.

I don't watch too much TV besides Top Gear UK, but I know my favourite police movie is End of Watch.

This is like a daily occurrance in the city closest to me. Not necessarily the officers discharging their weapons, but people shooting and killing each other. I went to Florida a year or two ago, and the city I stayed in, not once did I hear of a shooting. The most severe case I heard was that some old lady had a heart attack because a drunk driver ran thru her garden. On topic: It's scary when things like this happen. And people don't give cops the respect that they deserve. Glad to hear none of the officers were killed, and I hope that those injured make a full recovery.

I use 1.0b. As stated before, it has loads more features and and much more stable. 0.95 may be more stable in multiplayer, but I personally see no point in using 0.95 since I don't play multiplayer.

Yay! lol. :P I may not crash as often, but when I do, it's because I messed up the game quite bad and need to reinstall it. Which is where I am at the moment. lol

Whatever puts the fire out...I honestly couldn't think of a favourite one for me.

I guess I am just one of those lucky people who can mod the tits off of my game and never crash. Most of the time, if I crash, it's due to a bad model, and all I need to do is swap it out.

There should actually be a skin on here that fits the model I linked before. Let me check... Here is a link to the PSP skin. The only thing is, the back area between the tail lights is white, and should be black. I can chat with the creator and see if he will allow me to edit it. Funny thing about this skin, I requested it!

Doesn't fit? Where did you get the skin from? I'm pretty sure that this car used the template created by Bxbugs123, so if the skin was made using that template, it should fit.

It may as well have, but if there is a GTA V PC release, especially if it is in the near future, why start making LCPDFR for a new game that probably has completely different code than what Rockstar uses in their GTA IV series.They may be gearing up for a GTA V PC release so they can have something somewhat together. Plus, as Sam and many of the developers do, have lives outside of this website. So making a brand new script for a whole different game would take years. And perhaps they don't have time for making a new one. LCPDFR has had a few versions simply because they had the base script down, and improved on what they had.

L is the warning lights (WRNL), K is the secondary lights (SECL) and J is the primary lights. you need to either press J 3 times, as stated before, or press L, then K, then J. There is a file included with your ELS download called ELS Default Controls. This is where the default controls are listed. As for changing them, open your ELS.ini folder, located C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Grand Theft Auto. It will be C:/Program Files(x86)/Rockstar Games... if you have it from a disc. From there, open your ELS.ini folder. Immediately at the top is listed the controls, and their corresponding keys as well as the key number. In the ELS User Guide, on page 12, lists all of the key codes. If you want to change any keys, use the codes here to change the keys you want in your ELS.ini. For instance, if you want to have the siren as key F, change it from it's default code of 72, to the code for F(70). Save and you should be good. Now, if you want to have only your Primary lights to come on with one click, you will have to disable the other light stages. We can do this by going to the same file path at before, then finding the ELS folder,then open the file called "default_config.ini" and there should be all of the settings for the cars. I think in order to only have one light stage active, you need to set the others to off. So if you want your primary lights to be the only ones to work, set WRNL and SECL types to off. Now, I'm not 100% sure on that part, but that should work. Hope that helped some!
