I seriously hope people are not just installing this without doing a fresh install of everything.

Guys, a clean install is the way to go.
API changed a lot compared to 0.3, just delete everything mod related, verify game files integrity ( if you are using the steam version) and install only LSPDFR. They said a lot that plugins would be broken, idk how you guys insist on using 0.3 plugins. It's like trying to use a newer software with older patches. Save yourselves from frustration and headaches.

Just as a heads up, I can't think of much that makes me grumpier than having to hide 24 nonsense posts after working without sleep on 0.4. 
Lack of sleep I can deal with; people being idiots not so much.

I have an entire 1TB drive specifically for GTA lmao I have a copy for about 5 different areas depending on where I feel like playing and some are dumbed down for graphics mods some are movie quality graphics and I keep 4 clean copies lmao

They should take as much time as they need to make the update as good as possible. Let 'em work guys 😉

Calm yourself down. It is only Feb 19 and they are developing for free. Stop asking like it is their job to develop and "serve" it to you. Be grateful

After a long time of development, people are now starting to die either of excitement or depression

The hope is that experience of 0.4 will be a tad more 'complete' than the release of 0.3, as has been stated by Sam, the 0.3 was a rush to completion whereas 0.4 has been a planned development with an emphasis on features that should have been implemented already, the so aptly named "how have they not added this" features. A lot of the mods we rely on to add new features will likely become Incorporated into the core mod such as grabbing peds, RDE, search etc etc and i definitely think the core experience will be a great deal more playable than standalone 0.3 was on release.

May we know what part of "LSPDFR 4.0 coming Feb 2019" is unrealistic and inaccurate? I believe announcing a release date 45 days perior to the release is actually very responsible, short and realistic period! Please don't make illogical and thoughtful statement while LSPDFR team is working hard to get something done for all of us!

And maybe when .4 is released there will be simultaneous release of a sense of humor lmao get with the program and stop being so judgemental lol I'll explain again for you guys who keep calling others impatient. I'll even break it down Barney style for ya, people are joking we are making comments, requests and demands ironically, we are joking and playing to keep ourselves entertained until release. Chill out, calm down and take a deep breath before you come keyboard commando style.

It’s funny.. I literally check every couple of hours knowing that we’re coming close to the end of February. This is the most hype I’ve been since like 2010  🤣
