  3. Likewise, nor am I. I perhaps read aggression in your post which you had no intention to convey. Nonetheless, back to the vehicle, I do hope that both you and the author are able to make a fantastic vehicle from this, and I wish you the very best.
  4. I know, exactly why I said that the US police departments would have an even harder time having a "capres" in their fleet! Because already the US has a lot of pride about maintaining all american vehicles in their fleet, having a Middle Eastern variant of the Caprice would be too much. I wrote a review, reviewing the vehicle which is currently available to download, I wrote my honest opinion about it, in a very balanced way, did I say the model is sh*t? No, Did I say it needs a lot of work, yes, I also said that with further work this has a lot of potential, and the author can deliver "a rare vehicle such as the Caprice, to a high quality and high accuracy" with further work, relax yourself fella. It's a fair review, pointing out the flaws in the vehicle, to highlight the work that's needed to make the model better. There's no point saying "5 stars out of 5, its perfect" because it's not. The review system on LSPDFR is there to allow the users of the content to HONESTLY review the mod, and shouldn't face rebuking over their FAIR & BALANCED opinion, had I said "Worst model ever, hate it, author should set fire to their mum" then I'd understand your anger, but actually, I think it's fair to say the issues I've found, most other people will agree with. Regards

Invisible sides when the wheel arches come off. exhausts float when the rear bumper comes off, the pushbar Cheverolet "Capres"? Really? already American departments struggle with the vehicle being designed in Australia, let alone having the "Capres" in their fleet. No breakable glass It has the general look of a Caprice, but it still needs some refinement to make it look really good, mostly the front and rear need some accuracy tweaks, and some actual Caprice steelies or hubcaps would far enhance the looks of the vehicle. Rear headlights glass breaking isn't particularly good. It all sounds really negative, which I can't help, they're issues which do plague the vehicle, a fair amount of development is needed here, both for the interior and exterior, if however you're willing to do these improvements, you could deliver a high quality vehicle, as rare as the Caprice to LSPDFR. The Caprice is a vehicle I love, it's unique, and I would love to see a high quality accurate Caprice in GTA V. I hope you continue to work on it, because the vehicle isn't bad, it just needs continued work.
  7. That's actually very interesting. I too would like to create various un-represented mods, like the GMC Yukon for the Los Angeles Park Rangers, and the Ford F-450 ambulance for the Los Angeles Fire Dept. Currently the focus is all on creating the police vehicles, so I feel that the rest of the vehicles deserve to get made too. Unfortunately I have no experience in modelling, and being an engineering student at university means I have little time for it, but come May after my final exams I would very much like to create these vehicles.
  8. The Russian forums are notorious for stealing and ripping mods, publishing them unlocked.
  9. It's very different to the Pierce arrows used by the LAFD, which is a shame. However, this looks really good, best of luck with this project.

I like this model, very much so but it's not finished, but I do appreciate you releasing it to the public, it has great amounts of potential with but like many mods recently it needs a fair amount of refinement. I'm very impressed with the external model, its actually very good looking, some improvements (See below) but overall a very nice external model. The ram-bar should be an optional thing, seeing as most of the LAPD vehicles don't actually have ram-bars (I'm aware that someone asked for your model to have it added but I don't understand why). Now, why three stars? Because, unfortunately it's a very good external model, that is until you crash (which as a seasoned driver I often do). I've purposely sacrificed one of the LSPD's vehicles and documented my findings. So, when the wheel arch panels come off, nothing is behind, leaving it see-through, you can physically see the driver when you look through the removed wheel arch. The push-bar floats, it doesn't seem to be attached to the vehicle's bumper, meaning when I crash the bumper into something (some tw*t not looking whilst I'm going through a junction) the bumper may fall off or be damaged, but the pushbar remains perfectly in place, floating in mid-air if the bumper falls off. Likewise, the exhaust, plastic trim and side-marker remain when the rear bumper has been taken off. Note the images will demonstrate what I mean. Accuracy Improvements: 1.LED Spotlights on BOTH sides 2. Removal of fog-lights on front bumper 3.Removal of RT badge on the rear & adding Dodge badge on the front grille 4. Make the "blinkers" slightly more orange. (I've attached an image of the LAPD's Charger to show you all my accuracy improvement suggestions 1-4 (except the rear RT Badge).
  11. You have to first have access to an unlocked vehicle to convert, see the dev. section for some unlocked vehicles and vehicle parts. Then, using ZModeler to reduce the poly count from the high poly limits for GTA V to GTA IV's acceptable poly count. It's really quite complex, several videos exist on YouTube to show stages of it, but you're going against the grain here, most people are converting a GTA IV model into GTA V.
  12. Much better! Fantastic, I'm liking the interior shots, very useful for Desmond I hope. That's the dash the LAPD have, unfortunately the images provided by sargecommander are for the much fancier version which the LAPD wouldn't use. It's the basic Ford Utility which is most useful. Furthermore the images you've got are from a Police vehicle aren't they? Noticing the spotlight, the "shifter" and the equipment rack on the dashboard. Thanks very much
