Is ELS Mod going to die?
There's nothing like being able to cycle through different warning tones, have the use of a manual siren function, amongst other features, that ELS provides next to lighting. I hope to see it make its way over to GTA V.

I forget whose model this was originally, but Kinksta modified it into an LAPD car if I remember correctly, and it was further modified by OfficerArchie to the state that you see it above. PM the latter for a download link.

GTA IV has tons of "lag"
What are your computer's specs? GTA IV most definitely didn't have a good PC port and is badly optimized. Relatively hefty systems struggle with running it at decent settings, yet they'd run other games at high or ultra settings without breaking a sweat.

Another work in progress
Ladies and gentlemen, the hype train has arrived! There's even an aerodynic on top! Albeit a version without the speaker grille dividing the two sections of the bar, but I digress.

1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Detective
Yes! This will perfectly compliment the detective Caprice available already. I look forward to the release. ^_^

The Mind-Boggling Classic Cop Car Thread
Get ready for an image dump of massive proportions, straight from the 2015 NY International Auto Show! The police museum really stepped it up this year in terms of their auto show display. I had to divide this post up into several since I reached the image limit for a single post. EDIT : The forum software keeps trying to merge subsequent posts, but cannot since there are so many images. If someone were to post below me, I could post after them and finish up with the images. There are some good ones that need to be gotten to! --------------- General Overview of one side of the RMP line; --------------- 1989 Chevrolet Caprice (This was the same P.O. Eddie Byrne tribute car from last year, but it was in a position where I could take better photos. Further information on the Byrne case; https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B62-DiJkyiieWnlueUU2ZzhxZHc/view?usp=sharing) --------------- 1980 Plymouth Volare (The last model year for the Volare/Aspen.) --------------- 1974 Plymouth Satellite --------------- 1973 Plymouth Fury --------------- 1993-1996 Chevrolet Caprice --------------- 1971 Plymouth Fury --------------- 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne --------------- 1958 (or '59) Ford Custom 300

ACPD 1989 Caprice
If a version of this Caprice could be released with the twin-beacon lightbar pictured, some variation on the Aerodynic/Aerotwinsonic, maybe even a large Federal CJ184 beacon in the middle, etc that would be fantastic. Suggestions aside though, this is great!

The Mind-Boggling Classic Cop Car Thread
This photo was recently posted on NYPD Commissioner Bratton's twitter page. Apparently there's a vintage ESU truck at the auto show, and I spy an RMP (possibly a Plymouth Volare) in the background with a Signal Stat Dual Comm lightbar on top!

The Mind-Boggling Classic Cop Car Thread
The 2015 NY Auto Show opens to the public tomorrow, and the NYC Police Museum's exhibit is there again. I'm planning to go; if I get the chance to attend I'll be sure to snap a few photos for this thread again. It seems as if they have all of the classic RMPs from last year, along with a few new ones as well. In particular, the official NYPD twitter account showed off this photo of what looks to be a late forties/early fifties RMP (it has to be earlier than 1955 because that's when they stopped using the POLICE light box on the roof according to policeny.com). Coming to the ? See new & vintage NYPD cars on the lower level. — NYPD NEWS (@NYPDnews)

The Mind-Boggling Classic Cop Car Thread
I'm definitely looking forward to that now! For the record, I'd love to see a version with something like a Federal CJ184 beacon in the middle of the roof. The Old-Look buses, Nova, and LTD Crown Victoria in particular are drool-worthy. :D There area always more variations that can be introduced, especially ELS versions.

1980s Detective Car
Those RTS buses were quite popular, as Strike stated. Their original run for the MTA was produced by General Motors and branded as a GMC. The design was later sold off to TMC, a company in New Mexico. TMC made all of the RTS-06 buses still operating in the MTA's fleet today. Here are a few images taken in the early 80s. Maybe they'll shed more light on the livery - note the older MTA logo in particular.

(2/24/15) Insane NJ Police Pursuit Ends in NYC
For the record, the NYPost ran a more detailed article on this occurrence when it happened. The individual that kicked off the chase was already wanted by federal authorities, and at one point rammed into the back of another law enforcement vehicle. I will not comment on the driving techniques themselves as I am unsure of what exactly the TBTA's training and guidelines consist of. http://nypost.com/2015/02/24/robbery-suspect-leads-us-marshals-on-chase-across-ny-bridge/

Lundy's W.I.Ps
I see some good potential for a Signal-Stat lookalike bar coming from this. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with a Visibar-styled setup. :D

Though I would love to see a version with a Streethawk on it instead of that Whelen Edge if possible. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=701
