If you ever feel like your all alone on the streets of San Andreas you'll love CheepCallouts. I say that because you'll need to call in backup to deal with the congregation of freaks, wierdos and lunatics assembled by Cheep for his callouts. I love the home invasion call because it is hand-placed, but I would have enjoyed more locations. This call provides an opportunity to really explore the beautiful homes around Los Santos: places like Mirror Park, Vinewood Hills and Del Perro. The terrorist attack is an exciting and challenging shootout with plenty of the city's most heavily-armed nut-jobs keeping you cowering... uh, ahem, I mean 'utilizing tactical cover and concealment', while you call in the cavalry. The shooting call is a neat little callout that spawns nearby and finds you shooting or chasing an armed lunatic and the dangerous animal is good for a quick hunting session on your duty shift. Sure these callouts have all been offered before but that doesn't stop them from being fun. In fact I find myself forcing these callouts frequently. Who doesn't love the digitized death and destruction of a full-on shootout? Make sure your vest is serviceable and your magazines are full, you'll need them both. This should be considered a must-have mod for LSPDFR. This is a fantastic mod that integrates with a whole host of others to streamline various processes and functions of being on duty. The default controls can be a bit clunky but they are easily re-mapped to whatever your heart desires. I love how this ties in seamlessly to the base LSPDFR and other mods to enhance the immersion. As a standard bearer for the LSPDFR vehicle mod scene, BradM had to live up to his stunning reputation as a detail-oriented and practical designer. I, admittedly, was a bit skeptical that this pack could be as good as his others. What he delivered, though, is nothing short of excellence. The lights are setup beautifully and the tri-color effect is managed with stunning accuracy. All of the ELS features and functions exist and are very well set-up by default, the front of the lightbar floods white for takedowns providing ample scene lighting. The rear lights up with a wonderfully done traffic adviser that shuts off when you hit stage 3. The interior lights in the dash and rear windows stay in place, unlike some other models that jitter and flutter about like they aren't attached to anything. That's just the sort of 'attention to detail' type stuff that set BradM apart from the crowd. With all that, why is it not perfect? Why knock a whole star off? I mean, on a 5 star scale with a ton of other 5-star model packs, a whole star is the difference between life-altering and great. Try driving the '16 Charger from first-person and you'll find the radar display obscures nearly the entirety of your view. Driving has always been a contact sport in GTAV, now you have an excuse!- 206 comments

Thanks for the quick reply. I threw that in and VisualStudio threw up a bunch of undefined terms and invalid terms. I might be missing a reference because I'm only using ScriptHookVDotNet. I have a feeling I have a long way to go with coding this.

After a while searching around on various modding sites looking for a mod that does what I want and not finding one, I decided to create it myself. Since the sum-total of my C# experience can be measured in single-digit hours I realized I needed some help from the community. The mod that I want to code will basically do one thing, I want to open the car's trunk on key up. Searching around on various websites I think I've found the requisite lines of code but with my level of expertise I might just be attempting to code the dimensions for Playmate of the Month. I think I need to get the vehicle's trunk status first, then compare the status and call for an open/close based on that comparison. Not precisely sure how to code that. I don't know if this is possible but adding an altitude attribute would do it. Of course the spotlight would have to be changed so it wouldn't flood the entire area. Again, don't know if it's possible, just spitballing. There seems to be an issue with the latest GTA update. Whenever I call the helicopter it crashes LSPDFR. It might need updating.- 367 comments

What more can I say? So many others have said it already in many different ways. I love this mod and I find myself hoping for a reason to use it more often. It is so simple and lightweight but it adds so much in terms of realism and roleplaying to the game.

Sir, that is awesome sauce. I love the way "Police" is done. I don't know how you did that or how long it took, but well done! Thanks for changing the license plates, that was my only complaint. -
I was a VCNCO for 3 different squadrons and I can't recall ever seeing any vehicles actually owned by the Air Force with AF___ plates. Most of them were leased. I seem to recall a few special purpose vehicles: tow tractors, de-icing vehicles, etc. that all had G___ license plates. Then again that was a few years and many beers ago.- 25 comments

I will double-check the xml formatting but this sounds like it might be related to ComputerPlus itself. Try to download it and my files again; a fresh install might just fix it. You could also try Albo1125's Troubleshooter.- 19 comments

Obviously it would be helpful if the callout worked with ped search mods like "SearchWarrant." It would be great if dispatcher relayed additional information as the player responds to the location, such as: transaction turned violent and now one has the other at gunpoint; buyer decides to 'spark one up' at location etc. This callout has the potential to be nothing at all, or one of those 'panic button' situations where half the department ends up on scene. I couldn't code if it was necessary to save my own life so I have utterly no idea if what I'm describing is plausible. It is just an idea.Anyone know when to expect a ScriptHook update?
In a nutshell that's it. It adds crimes, removes crimes and generally changes things around. For folks looking for slightly more realism or immersion.- 19 comments

The State of San Andreas has finally published vehicle and penal codes for peace officers! San Andreas Attorney General Dewey Cheatum will no longer permit sworn officers to simply lock up everyone and let courts sort them out! This download contains updates to the definitions files of PieRGud's fantastic Computer+ file! Once you've finally stopped that Rapid GT in Sandy Shores or finally tackled that hippie with the knife in Vinewood you'll need to decide what offenses they have actually committed and do the paperwork. Gone are the original charges where nearly everything was a felony. I've differentiated between some charges and not others. Use common sense and all your tools to help you choose the right charge(s) to level against your suspect. For added immersion I recommend using a ped/vehicle search mod that gives specifics because you'll need it. Requirements: LSPDFR Computer+ 1.3.5.0 or higher Installation instructions contained in Readme in download file. Special thanks to PieRGud and the other contributors for creating Computer+ and the original xml layout. Please be sure to rate and leave comments as I am looking for feedback from the LSPDFR community. Screenshots coming soon. And the peasants rejoiced!!! The LONG awaited and anticipated Police SmartRadio. This thing is even smarter than I am! Contextual buttons, clean UI, unobtrusive design. What more could anyone ask for? I have tested this a bit and it interacts with other mods and callouts providing a seamless one-stop-shop for all of your patrol needs. I haven't gotten to blow any suspects' heads off though, so I don't know if the coroner works as well as the other integrations but I suspect it does! Yet another must-have by everyone's beloved Albo1125. A statue in his honor will be commissioned in the center of Los Santos- 1,196 comments

I am having a similar issue. Does anyone know what the file size limit for weapons.awc? I have a sound mod for all weapons and then I wanted to put a tazer sound mod on top of it. Tried it in-game and weapon sounds are muted. After some troubleshooting and research I think it is down to a file size limit. I know that resident.rpf has a file size issue of 15.7MB (?) Does anyone know what the size limit for weapons.awc is? Mine is currently 18.43MB with the weapon sound mod, I'm thinking it has to be close to that limit. Before I go muting sounds I'd like to know the limit I'm aiming for.

Tired of waiting for that lunky ole CVPI to catch up to that Rapid GT that just blew your doors off heading into Blaine County? Tired of those chases that start in Paleto Bay and end when the jerk's PCJ600 finally 10-50's into a fence on the Del Pero Pier? Always hate it when the SAHP bike steals primary position from you? With this Christmas tree wrapped around a Hellcat those aggravations and many others are thing of the past! This model has enough lights so traffic knows you've snagged a speeder from miles away. Even if you have to block traffic on the freeway by parking your car sideways on the freeway, the HG2s have got you covered there! This model should be included with all downloads of LSPDFR! As far as I'm concerned it is THE gold standard for CVPI models! The lighting is utterly perfect and the attention to detail is top-notch on the exterior as well as interior. I just wished my RL CVPI looked as good!- 132 comments
