Looks like you've mapped the headlight texture to all of your lights. Other than that, I can't see anything wrong in those pictures

There is a guy on here currently making a mod just like LCPDFR but from the firefighters point of view with MVA's etc. I think he also mentioned a FBI mod too.

Now that I've had time to practice, I feel I'm ready to open myself up to more complicated models and textures for IV. Under the advice of Dhruv, I've created this thread to bunch all of my releases and W.I.P's into one thread. RELEASED PROJECTS RETIRED VAPID POLICE CRUISER Average completion time: 4 hours Based on: Vapid Taxi This model was my first and although its very basic, I'm happy with it and apparently so is half of the community. There are a few textures bugs with it (flip it over and you'll see) which I don't think I can fix, but none-the-less I am working on attempting to fix them. COMING SOON Projects in this section are still in progress and are not yet ready for release however pictures will be posted of their progress. RETIRED DECLASSE MERIT POLICE CRUISER I'm fully aware of the standard Merit in this game, however this model will retain the spotlight, rambars and possibly a cage. Status: Model has been textured, currenty removing the lightbar UNMARKED VAPID CRUISER ELS: Yes / No - There will be two version included in the download for people to choose between ELS and NON-ELS Status: Lights added to the front grill and rear window, working on getting them working for both versions Lightbar: Code 3 XT6 Series

Remove the .wft extension from the lightbar and move it into the hirarchy underneath the police3.wft Then, to avoid further bugs in game, do what Dhruv said and attach it to the car model. I'm not expert in modelling, but I know a few things from experience.

Looks like K-9 Units are now possible
So, I've just noticed this on GTA-4 Mods http://www.gta4-mods...-mod-v10-f13762 From what I've seen, they've had their bone's redone and walk like actual dogs. So how could you make them act as K-9 units? Simple. Spawn them as a bodyguard with SNT, disable drive by weapons and spawn them unarmed. Peds spawned with SNT refuse to enter police vehicles. No idea why, they just down right won't do it.

Model Spawning. Its on like page 8 I think, just hover over "Fireman" and then hit Numpad 5. You'll be put as that model, sometimes it'll also give you the voice of it. Although most of the time you'll have to head back onto model spawning and then "Voice Options" and change your characters voice to it.

Modifying the handling line is easy and can prove a lot of fun. Just look for a vehicle, I.E the bus and change its mass to 9999999 and increase its acceleration and top speed.- crown vic

Once again guys, I really appreciate the help. Using what you've all told me today, I've managed to complete my first car modification. All I've gotta do is map a base colour to the bodywork and interior and create a handling line for it (as soon as it leans it'll spazz out until I stop moving) EDIT: Turns out the Vapid Cruiser doesn't have a interior area in the Hierarchy, therefore I'm not sure how I'm going to give it a texture inside. Also, I couldn't find anything in vehshare.wtd so I'll ask here, what file do I map to the body so that the car will spawn in random colours?- zModeler Issues

Thanks for the advice Kevin. I decided to just try modifying the default cars at first, just so I could get to grips with modeling / converting. I imported the Vapid Police Cruiser and removed all police features in an attempt to make a civilian version. Once again, the wheels haven't exported correctly. There's no textures on it yet as I haven't mapped them yet. Is there a reason for the wheels not exporting correctly? they are there in the hierarchy and the name was not changed at all- zModeler Issues
Thats actually a default DXT5 texture called "paintjob.png" which is just temp so I could see the car ingame. The wheels should of exported along with the model itself but failed for some reason- crown vic
