  1. It is illegal to force people to pay to use your mods. Lets think about this. In order for a game to have real-world cars, the developers need to contact every individual car company and ask to use their vehicles, this costs a TON of money for the license and even then the manufactuers put certain restrictions on the cars. For instance, it took Driver: San Francisco FIVE YEARS to gain all the proper licensing for the vehicles, and even then, most manufactuers had requests: All manufactuers DID NOT WANT to see their cars being blown up by explosions (hence the fictional cars being used in cutscene explosions) Honda refuse to feature in ANY GAME that allows a player to provoke and escape any law enforcement. By creating models of these vehicles and then charging for them, you are breaking the law. You haven't paid out of your ass for a license from the company to create their car and put it in the game. You are just adding salt to the wound by charging for it.
  2. Independence Day is awesome. Man I'm lonely. I need a hug. ... Ahem, back to normality then. In the WUUUURRRLLDDD
  3. I also live in the UK yet I couldn't find anything in the news about this. Surely something like this would have a small little segment on it?
  4. As soon as they stop promoting Max Payne 3. If they attend E3 this year, I'd expect them to release more info there.
  5. They can be semi-automatic or full
  6. Games are usually developed on the Xbox 360. I saw a video tour of Criterion Games Studios a few years ago, they walked into one room with around 300 xboxs, all turned on and running the game they were making (I think it was NFS Hot Pursuit) Its then adapted and ported to PS3 for the bluray capabilities before the final version is ported to PC. Hence why if you look hard enough inside IV's files, you can see all the buttons and logos for the sixaxis tutorial.
  7. Thats the IV cruiser with a new lightbar. Looks terrible.
  8. Does this solve the "You cannot join a game you were kicked from? Also, For Sky Broadband Users, you just put your Router's IP Address into your browser to access it. A small box will come up, put these in the boxes: admin sky Then you head to services and add IV to your services like above (one service for each port, so three in total) Head onto firewall settings (I think, something like that) Add each new service to the "Outbound" ports and possibly "Inbound" for hosting
  9. There has been reports of people being carjacked when driving through some countries, so its advised to stay in packs of 30 or so.
  10. Plenty of things, although they probably won't. + Add / Improve AI Animations Interaction with AI Police and Ambulance driving skills Side misisons (Taxi, Firefighter etc.) Minigames from San Andreas need a return (Basketball, Pool) Some sort of Roleplay gamemode. (theres 32 players I presume, that'll be enough) More interaction with your car Ability to purchase and lock cars so they'll stay in the place you left them TONS more enterable buildings Ability to buy businesses Ability to Buy houses Watch television in your house (More amercian space rangers please) Gyms Anything else from SA I've missed New police cars. I seriously hope the IV ones are just placeholders, same goes for every IV car I saw in the trailer Better port for PC. Nightclubs from TBoGT - Remove / Tweak Being forced to take friends on activities. It should be optional Make the protagonist likeable. Make the missions more engaging, its usually "drive here, shoot this guy, drive here, watch cutscene" I'll add more if I come up with any Anything or anyone that relates or hints at Brucie or Roman
  11. Edit: Justin can go suck a huge cock for completely egoing the thread title. :)
  12. No sports car needed. They used an old Jaguar.
  13. Your disc is scratched beyond repair. Usually means a scratch has caused some data to be wiped from the disc or become unreadable. In this case its the data3.cab
  14. TESTING THE JSRS 1.4 SOUND MOD This sound mod is awesome and I highly recommend it. Video yet again by NB http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cf77UWULX8&list=UUGWGgMLnBzfooRt80iQCGKg&index=1&feature=plcp

You can't pull them over but I find it more realistic as a criminal is highly unlikely to pull over after stealing a vehicle. The trick to arresting them is to pin the car against the wall and pull the driver out, quickly arresting him before he tries to get back inside the vehicle.
  16. Updated, added Nicolai's one hour special which is full of epic moments
  17. This thread will be a collection of awesome moments that Justin and Justin (and occasionally Justin) encounter when playing ArmA II. Trust me, theres a ton of them. Note: All enemy AI in these videos are A.I! No human players are on the enemy side. First up. AMBUSHED BY A SUICIDE BOMBER (AI) Listen closely and you'll hear "Allah Hu ak Bar" ONE HOUR GAMEPLAY SPECIAL Good parts include: Avoiding an IED by the skin of ass. More videos coming soon.
  18. I'm going to bite the bullet and sign up. Looks like it could add some enjoyment back into IV for me. EDIT: I remember signing up back last year, forgotten my password however.
  19. If I can remember correctly, its a known bug. Either down to EnB or mouse settings. So with that in mind you can either: 1. Remove any EnB you have installed 2. Raise you mouse sensitivity in the game options

Make sure you aren't in your crusier. Otherwise It'll turn your engine off. Somebody really needs to make an actual bait car script.
  21. Harper replied to dralis83's topic in Discussion
You can also use simple native trainer to shut down the engine remotely.
  22. My friend plays SA on the same framerate. And the game world keeps flashing. Personally, it'd piss me off. But he deals with it, no idea how.
  23. Keep this on topic, Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if you disagree with it you either suck it up and live with it or click the little red "X" on your browser. If this continues, as well as the blatent rep abuse by some members, I'll be forced to close this thread
  24. You could make a load of plates and map them to each individual car But that is too much work.
  25. Have you tried doing a full virus and malware scan?
