CPD Update 5.0 is finally happening! I also want to take this time to let you know that this pack will actually be converted to DLS, with a Non-ELS but with ELS functionality. Building this pack with DLC, will make it WAY more realistic than I can ever get it with ELS or Hybrid. At this current time with the current release of 3.2, and the current version of the beta release, you do not need DLS at this time. A notice will be placed with the pack will be converted to DLS. If you want to beta test the new version of CPD, you will need to have DLS installed, which works alongside with ELS, and will not have to remove ELS to use DLS

Here we are, finally, this pack is the way I had wanted it since I released it. 
 
Few know why this rebuild became and thing, and little know why it was released so early, but I finally present to you, my Chicago police pack, to be as realistic, as possible, down to the lighting patterns, but enough of that. Not only does this pack contain some amazing lighting, and what not but it also contains some special features, that I personally have never seen done before, on the lcpdfr website.
 
On major key feature, that if you're from Chicago, you will know quite fondly which is self-operating brake lights in the rear lights on the body of the car in SUV's and in the light bars on the Sedans. 
To get the brake lights to work actually took a bit of time, and while they are not perfect, they are to me and look absolutely amazing.
 
I originally released this early short of car's because my SSD, that help the files became corrupted, and when I did recover my files, I could no longer work on them, so this was very much needed to be done to this pack. 
 
Some issues from the last pack that are no longer present in this pack and were fixed, is the interior on the 2020 FPIU was jacked up, and so that has been fixed, and all the spotlights are in perfect working order.
 
I'm going to stop rambling, and let you guys enjoy this pack, and all the work that was put into it.

This file contains fixes for the various hooks required for most GTA IV mods including LCPDFR to make them work with the GTA IV Complete Edition. Please note that some features are disabled or might not work correctly as not everything has been updated. Most memory offsets have been ported to patterns to support future (if any) patches. Included are:
 
AdvancedHook.dll - Includes most of its original features except for the livery limit bypass. Many functions will not operate correctly as game offsets have changed
AdvancedHookInit.asi - Fully updated
aCompleteEditionHook.asi - Runtime fix for aru's C++ Script Hook (which is still needed!). Should be feature complete, albeit the original hook relies on field order for a few things and I might not have found all. The name is really just a simple way to make it load before any other asi files so it can fix up the hook early.
ScriptHookDotNet.asi - Fully updated except for the phone number feature
 
Installation
The files act as replacements to the original hooks with the exception of the aCompleteEditionHook.asi file, which still needs the original C++ ScriptHook to run properly. Feel free to change the name if you have asi files loaded earlier. Place all files in the GTA IV directory and launch the game. It is recommended to first install any mods before installing this fix to ensure you are using the latest fixed files.
 
Known LCPDFR issues
I only played LCPDFR briefly, so not much has been tested. One known issue is incorrect keys being displayed in the help boxes sometimes, for instance for the Enter key.
 
Support
Please note that I have no interest in providing any kind of support for GTA IV, LCPDFR or these fixes. I might update the files here occasionally to fix up more functions, but until then a debugger is your best friend if things go south.

Information:
Well, retirement didn't turn out for what it was gunna be. Plus, I made some personal packs and felt selfish that the community couldn't enjoy them too. So here you are, the first pack post-retirement. It's getting cold and snowy, so as always I turn to the friendly neighbours north of the US, CANADA! This pack is loosely based off Halton PD, and I've tried to make similar lights to the ones I've seen from pictures (Thank you NBKPhotography on Flickr!). Also, this should be the last pack using the kinda poor FPIU 2013 base, I have a different one know to use. So enjoy this pack in the snowy (or not) climates of San Andreas this winter.

I created my FHP forum post almost two years ago, I was very hesitant to release anything as I was in fear of a less than pleasant response to the models provided. I've put a lot of work into the accuracy to detail for these cars, they're about as accurate as I could possibly make them for a video game. After two years, I think a few of these are ready for release. If I receive a positive response then hey, maybe i'll throw out some Tahoes and CVPI's! Hopefully this pack may encourage a few of you to actually update ragehook and make your game playable again. Yes, I know. It's dreadful.
 
There are four dodge chargers included in this pack, they're more modern than they are older as most of them are 2016+.
 
I do have plans to add the newer all blue Code3 Pursuit Chargers as well as the older chargers with the previous gen. Javelin Lightbars. I don't have a timeline for when those will be added.

HERE IT IS BOYS AND GIRLS! The New York State Division of Police. After two months of literally the hardest work I've ever spent on models including I swear to god im not exaggerating hours of research and pictures, and spamming my Discord for help, and spamming the New York tag on my Discord for help. This pack includes 19 vehicles, but it is only 5 or 6 actual bases, it just includes a ton of variants for each vehicle. Includes Tahoes, Vics, etc. every single vehicle as accurate as possible to their IRL counterpart, except 2016 FPIUs, Chargers, and Tahoes and 2012 Caprices which will all be added in the future with Highriser versions. Some of the vehicles are outdated, so if you check the unit number and it's like a 2017 Dodge Charger it means that they have replaced it, I just kept these around because unique CVPIs in the NYSP are being phased out and if I did a modern day pack with all active cars they would be scarce. If you are overwhelmed read the "If you are overwhelmed" notepad because these are NOT add on, so you need to choose between vehicles , or add them on yourself and that file will 100% help you, along with the "About" notepads in each model folder. -To switch liveries you will need to put a 4K version of the livery in the +hi.ytd and a 2K version in the regular .ytd.
 
INFO: Over the past few months I've worked very hard on this pack to make it the best it possibly can for release, and its my best work yet of course.
This pack comes with: 95% breakable windows (all except the CVPI windshields), pushbar collisions, three light stages per vehicle, and functioning
takedowns for every vehicle.

INSTALLATION:
1. Make backups!
2. Drag all files included in the "Models" folder into: gtav/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/(LATEST PATCHDAY)/dlc.rpf/x64>levels/gtav/vehicles.rpf, using OpenIV in edit mode.
3. Drag the vehicles.meta included in the "vehicles.meta" folder into: gtav/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/levels/gtav, using OpenIV in edit mode.
4. Drag all VCF files in the "ELS VCFs" folder into Grand Theft Auto V/ELS/pack_default.

KNOWN BUGS:
-CVPI windshield does not shatter.
-Due to the slots they are in, policeold1 and policeold2 spawn in with matte paint. This can be fixed by manually changing the color of the car in your trainer.

I don't actively visit this site anymore. You can do anything you want with the model/texture including reuploading to other sites, repackaging, and just about anything else you can think of.

Installation:
Use OpenIV to copy all four files into mods > update > x64 > dlcpacks > patchday8ng > dlc.rpf > x64 > models > cdimages > weapons.rpf (Optional) Install Claude_III's mod to allow marksman pistol use in a vehicle. https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/driveby-marksman-pistol
