Nikopol reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4 - Activity Feed & Companion AppJust a week ago, we released LSPDFR 0.4. Since then, there's been at any given time an average of 620 people playing LSPDFR, peaking at just over 1,200 earlier today. We think these are pretty incredible numbers for a game mod, and we've really enjoyed watching as people get to grips with 0.4 and all of the new possibilities it offers.
With that being said, we've been monitoring the support forums and have recognized that there are, of course, a couple of issues with 0.4. We're working to get as many of these sorted as we can and hope to release a small patch to address the most important ones shortly.
Today, though, we're introducing two new features as part of LSPDFR Sync - the Activity Feed and the Companion App.
Activity Feed
The Activity Feed, in a bit of a throwback to the days of LCPDFR's Crime Statistics, is a live activity wall of everything that's going on in LSPDFR 0.4. You can track what your fellow officers are up to with live updates on callouts, traffic stops, arrests, etc. Plus, we've integrated it with the website so everything is linked together nicely as far as Characters and forum accounts go.

Companion App
The Companion App is something a little different that we're working on. Open it up while in-game and you'll see an overview of your current session with your Character's location marked on a Google Maps style rendition of San Andreas. As well as some basic info about your Character, we've added a couple of actions that can be performed from the app such as calling backup and going on and off duty.

It's early days, but we definitely have some cool plans going forward for the Companion App.

Nikopol got a reaction from JOHNNYLAWLESS in GTAV after UPDATE!!!You don't! Remove the file from your directory and you should be good to go. Beware that to play online you need to properly clean your installation, otherwise you're at risk of Rockstar's ban.

Nikopol got a reaction from jcpse in Advice: Will this run LSPDFRNot recommended at all. It's way overpriced for what you get.
Search for a local shop that will build your pc from scratch, it's less expensive and they can suggest you the right components.
CPU (processor): whatever Intel i5 should do the job, don't go on AMD (or wait for R3/R5 Ryzen lineup).
Motherboard: I have a good experience with ASUS, but other known brands are ok. I'd avoid MSI as it seems they're facing broken jumpers in a few models.
RAM: at least 8Gb.
GPU (graphics card): AMD RX480 (strongly suggested) or Nvidia 1060.
PSU (power supply): at least 500W. Do not go cheap with this, always choose a known brand. If the power supply breaks, other components may follow.
Take a look at pcpartpicker.com - it guides you on configuring your system while checking for prices.

Nikopol reacted toDeactivated Memberin [REQUEST] ELS Vanilla Police VehiclesI might try it at some point. A conversion of RDE 3.0's vehicles to ELS would be pretty sweet, so I am gonna take a try at it sometime.

Nikopol reacted to TheCanadianDream in [REQUEST] ELS Vanilla Police Vehicles@Nikopol I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU TALK TO JJDAWKINS30 AT GTA 5 MODS. I made this (if you have any requests for me please say so and I will be happy to do them)

Nikopol got a reaction from TheCanadianDream in [REQUEST] ELS Vanilla Police VehiclesI've never been a fan of real life mods in GTA universe, as they break immersion and homogeneity to me.
As title says: has anyone interest in converting / enhancing vanilla police vehicles to be ELS enabled? That would be really cool :)

Falloff values allow you to set the lights to reflect off objects much further. Short video I made here, you can see the light reflect off the buildings and tree. I set "lightfalloffMax" and "lightfalloffExponent" to a value of 80.
Why would Rockstar have such low falloff values is beyond me, default is very unrealistic and there appears to be no performance issues.

Nikopol reacted to PNWParksFan in [REL] Coastal Callouts Discussion ThreadJust a quick update on what's been going on! Yes, development is still ongoing.
Private beta testers have been doing a great job finding lots of bugs, which I've been working hard on fixing. Stability and user-friendliness has been significantly improved. Created two new training callouts specifically to help new users of the mod figure out how all the advanced features work, in a fun and interactive way rather than reading a manual (I know yall never look at those readmes...)
Lots of work on making the mod more user-configurable and user-friendly. Currently working on adding a system so you can drop off rescued victims at hospitals or heli pads, where they will either be wheeled in by doctors or taken away in an ambulance. This is sort of similar to how you drop off arrested peds in LSPDFR.
Working on improving the variation and quality of the callouts. Can't give too many details here, as I don't want to spoil the fun, but you can look forward to very dynamic callouts, ranging from ridiculous and humorous ones, to very challenging and serious calls with lives on the line. Thanks for following these updates! And, keep an close eye on this page... there will be some exciting new information coming out soon about public beta testing!

Nikopol reacted to sloosecannon in [RELEASED!] San Andreas Record Data Access System - Real world access to your LSPDFR ped records!Hello LSPDFR community!
Today I'm announcing a new plugin/application that I'm hoping to release in the next few weeks. This is the San Andreas Record Data Access System - SARDAS for short. It's a Windows application you can run on a computer in real-life that will allow full access to ped/vehicle records, IN GAME!
Here are some screenshots of it in action:
Login screen
The database screen:
The database, after searching for a vehicle:
It automatically searches for the owner of a vehicle, much like Computer+ does with its vehicle records search.
In-game at launch:
The client app running on my Toughbook, while LSPDFR runs on my main PC!
This plugin will require a little bit of technical skill to run - namely, you'll need to be able to open the required ports in the firewall and figure out the IP address of your "server" machine. I'm also planning on integrating other mods, and additional features, similar to the callout management of Computer+.
In the future, I'd like to add the ability for mods to create windows and notifications on the client computer, making it truly act like a police "MDT".
I'll keep this thread updated as I progress, and I'll try to add what features I can.
Thanks for reading, and stay safe out there!
I've now released a RC (Release Candidate) version of the app here:
It's still in early stages, and may be buggy - don't blame me if it crashes your game!
-
For those who were interested in the customisation options for SmartRadio.
A release should be relatively close at hand now! I'm currently at the stage of fixing last bugs and removing unwanted behaviour as well as optimizing the API.
Early access to Loyalty Participants is also now open.

Nikopol reacted to Albo1125 in Traffic stop ambush (ala LCPDFR)?The whole Traffic Stop ambush concept only exists in Traffic Policer's ANPR Hit: Owner Wanted callout.
I could make it an ambient event too if people are interested.
Regs.

Nikopol got a reaction from HTownman77 in 0.49 RPH work for you ?RPH 0.49 works well with LCPDFR 0.31 on my end (or vice versa).
By the way: Windows 10 SmartScreen alerted me to not use RagePluginHook.exe on execution, it was somehow blocked (?!). After giving it permissions, RPH alerted me that its updated files were blocked by Windows and asked permission to "de-block" them.
So maybe who's having issues may check if Windows isn't blocking anything. Just my 2 ignorant cents :)

Nikopol got a reaction from HTownman77 in LSPDFR keeps crashing while arrestingRAGE Plugin Hook - Open Alpha - 0.49.1041.10069
Released 12/18/2016 11:48:32 5.41 MB (3,996 downloads) "Fixed an exception when passing a null string to a native."
This new update solved the issue for me. I had constant crashes while arresting with 0.48
Thank you, I was dumb enough to not consider that those big alert messages at startup could be part of the problem. Fortunately it simply was an issue with RPH which has already been updated. I've tested it (without Albo's mods) and it works as it should.

Nikopol reacted to jesse_ownt in LSPDFR keeps crashing while arrestinghi, i've just installed this mod and it works fine but, everytime when someone gets arrested, LSPDFR crashes. the game still runs after that but i wont get any more call-outs and can't stop traffic altough i'm still on-duty in some form because if i shoot people down, i don't get a wanted level.
i have the newest ragehook (0.48) and LSPDFR (0.31) and GTA V is also up to date. i already had this problem with ragehook (0.47) a few weeks ago and i don't use any other mods or plugins than just LSPDFR and Ragehook.
i hope i explained my problem good enough to understand.
thnx!
