    You know those cops around the city armed with M4s guarding important thingies? This mod lets you choose what outfit they're wearing and what weapon they wield. Works best with Custo/F5544's cop mods so they can walk around in body armour and stuff.

    This is just another obligatory SWAT officer pedmashup. It replaces the Armoured Security guards, or whatever ped you please really. Be sure to read the ReadMe for install instructions.

  3. I'm guessing you recently modified an .img file? Basically when you add or remove new objects to an img or the filesize changes drastically (i.e. installing a ton of cars at once), your savegame becomes confused. So instead of loading what's supposed to be there, it loads what it thinks was there. Either start a new game or undo you last mod install.

  5. It's not difficult per se and can definitely be done, but it can be a real time-consuming process to get it right. I personally don't like working with lists with GTA because with objects regularly coming and going out of memory there's too much potential for conflicts that can take forever to iron out.

I use GetClosestVehicle in my script but rather than use Player.Character.Position I use an offset of the current position i.e. (Player.Character.CurrentVehicle.GetOffsetPosition(offset)) which lets me set how far away the "detection zone" is, however this method is really simple and only tracks what's in front/back of the player at a given time, so slightly useless for keeping any "history" of pings of any sort. Frankly I kept it that simple because I'm quite lazy at times and absolutely hate keeping lists of any sort

    This script automatically "scans" passing vehicles and tells you if there are any markers on them. The script is entirely random and separate from any databases, so you get a variety of plates and flags. By default, about 24% of cars on the road will trigger a flag. Like an actual APR system it is up to you to investigate APR activations in detail. KNOWN BUGS: - Hits may occur on exempted vehicles if they have been modded and the vehicles.ide file changed. V2.0 is a thorough overhaul/rewrite; while lots of testing has been done, feel free to PM me if you encounter any other bugs or stability issues.
  9. Try using LeftALT + P to activate the mod, not RightALT + P.
  10. You need to change the handling lines or vehicles.ide to change it from a "car" to a "bike."

  12. That mod has absolutely nothing to do with default in-game commands...please read what you're posting before you post.
  13. Try spawning a NOOSE vehicle or helicopter normally; if it doesn't work, you may have a broken mod installed.

  16. Old mods work with old Scripthooks work with old versions of the game. So the Scripthook and mods you use for the most part work with whatever version of the game you have.

    Doesn't ELS attach different objects with different texture maps...so it refreshes objects AND textures, not one or the other. Either way, I don't really see how that changes the fact that an ELS car with its lights on is essentially indestructible.
  19. If the model comes with a template, copy that over as a new layer into Photoshop/Gimp/etc, set the transparency to something like 50%, and voila.

    Yes, ELS works by constantly refreshing the car, therefore it can never be damaged.
