Sorry if this is a stupid question; this is the gamer's dad here, trying to help him install a mod. Specifically the "GTAIV_BEFORE_1983_CARS_PACK". I've tried using Spark IV, but it just gives me errors about the cars not already being in the database. Well yes, we're trying to add new cars here. Can I just copy the new carcols.dat, handling.dat, vehicles.ide and vehicles.img files over their current versions in the EFLC/TBoGT tree? Or do I also have to fiddle with other files and settings? The GTAIV_BEFORE_1983_CARS_PACK.rar doesn't contain a readme file, which would be helpful, but only the four files I mentioned. I don't mind moving files around, but I don't want to stuff up what's already working. Thanks very much!

This was a fresh re-install of LCPDFR on top of a fresh re-install of GTA IV. In each case the old one was wiped, and a new version downloaded and installed. I did a manual installation - where do I find the LCPDFR.log file? (This is not mca0004 here, this is his dad, who's trying to install the mod). I've installed the mod in the correct folder, and downloaded and installed all the necessary MS tools (.NET, C++ etc). However, when I run the diagnostic tool, I'm told: "Installation corrupted - LCPD First Response.dll missing". However, it's there all right, since I copied the entire LCPD tree into the EFLC folder of our installation of GTA IV. I'm sorry if this is a particularly stupid question, but I'm not a gamer myself, and as a diehard linux user, I find the management of windows libraries very confusing. Anyway - any help would be most gratefully received, by me and my son! Thanks, Al

This is a simple question, what is the differences between the police A.I. in GTA IV to GTA V? And is there an A.I. difference between the police and the sheriff?

I have all four of those games, and I love all four of those games. There are some oldies, True Crime New York City for the PS2, Xbox, GameCube and PC is pretty good and their is also Urban Chaos for the PS1, Dreamcast and PC isn't to shabby ether
